The table of results is based on 13 calibratedperformance indicators which measure an institution’s performance across teaching, research, knowledge transfer andinternational outlook.Maclean’s 2021 University RankingsMore than 18,000 university students responded to Maclean’s online survey, giving their opinions on professors andstaff, residence life, and opportunities for extracurricular activities and experiential education, such as co-op programs. To review the Maclean’s rankings for undergraduate programs and graduate programs select thisPost-secondary ApplicationsStudents who are planning to stay in BC for their future studies should begin the application process through:apply.educationplannerbc.ca/** for BCIT, UBC, UVIC & Royal Roads – apply via their websiteSimilar application services are available for students applying to Ontario and/or Alberta institutions. Students applyingto the United States should have already started their application; many US institutions use the Common Appapplication service.Once applications are complete, most schools send a notification/email to confirm and let you know what else is neededto complete the application. For most schools, this includes receiving your transcript via STS (see below)

Student Transcript Service / STSThe Student Transcript Service is not officially open yet for current grade 12s. We will send out a message via the Salishapp, Parent Newsletter, and our Instagram account when we receive word that STS is open. All Grade 12 students musthave an STS account to view and print their final transcript in July 2021. It is also how students who are applying to postsecondary education for the fall of 2021, will allow institutions to pick-up their marks electronically (or be mailed a finaltranscript in late July). Very few post-secondary institutions want a transcript at this time. The majority of them will askstudents to self-report their Grade 11 and completed Grade 12 marks when they have been given an account with thepost-secondary institutions. These two videos will help students in setting up their account and releasing their transcripts:1.
