After consultation withstakeholders in both countries, Standards Australia and Standards New Zealand decided todevelop this Standard as an Australian Standard rather than an Australian/New ZealandStandard.The objective of this Standard is to provide the requirements that are additional to therequirements of other Parts of AS 1418.During the preparation of this Standard reference was made to prEN 13155, Cranes—Safety—Non-fixed load lifting attachments.Statements expressed in mandatory terms in notes to tables and figures are deemed to berequirements of this Standard.This is a free 8 page sample. This Standard does not cover lifting equipment such as slings, lifting gear, workboxes and items covered by other Australian Standards.
