Homeless Outreach Support Team (HOST)The mission of H.O.P.E. is to balance proactive outreach withenforcement of the law, while connecting members of thehomeless population with resources that may help themtransition from homelessness. HOST collaborateswith the Sheriff’s Homeless Outreach Proactive Enforcement(HOPE) team to conduct outreach events, go out into the field,and engage the most difficult and hard to reach clients. HOSTstaff works with qualified individuals to complete the necessaryapplications and assessments in the field and, upon receipt ofhousing voucher, will assist the individual to locate and move intohousing.
