About the Northfield Bank FoundationThe Northfield Bank Foundation was founded on November 7, 2007 and isheadquartered at 1731 Victory Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10314. TheFoundation was formed with a cash contribution of 3,000,000 and 896,061shares of Northfield Bancorp, Inc. bestowed by the bank when it converted to apublic company.The role of the foundation is to support not-for-profit groups, institutions,schools or other organizations operating in the communities in which NorthfieldBank does business - specifically Staten Island, Brooklyn and Central New Jersey.The Foundation focuses its efforts on projects to support education, health andhuman services, youth programs, and other types of community organizations orcivic-minded projects that improve the quality of life around us.

Message from theExecutive Director & ChairpersonThe Northfield Bank Foundation has completed its firstfull year in 2008. We exceeded our expectations andwere able to help our communities in ways we did notthink were possible.The Northfield Bank Foundation alone has put morethan 610,000 to work in the community in 2007 and2008. Prior to the existence of the Foundation,Northfield Bank contributed over 2.7 million to thecommunity over the past 10 years. helping hand to many organizations that are workingdiligently to make our neighborhoods better places. Wesalute the people that are the backbone of these organizations for all that they do. Without them, the needs ofour communities would not be met.With the wise and exceptional guidance of our Board ofDirectors, we are able to stay focused on our mission.We thank them for their commitment.As we move ahead, our mission remains unchanged.We will continue to focus our efforts on supporting education, health care, and youth programs.
