YOUR IBOAI IN ACTIONIBOAI HISTORYDAYThe annual IBOAI History Day led byJody Victor, Governance & OversightChairman and official Historian, gavean informative overview of the richhistory and strong values of theIBOAI and Amway . This sessionwas attended by new and currentBoard members.SUPPORTIVE VIDEO MESSAGES BYIBOAI BOARD MEMBERSThe pandemic put the world on pause in 2020, yet that didn’t prevent your IBOAI Board from reachingout and extending their support through inspiring video messages. Vinny Pappalardo, Board Chairman,reminded IBOs, “people are the biggest asset in this Business through good times and bad.” Severalother Board members also extended their heartfelt support in videos.When the new 2021 fiscal year began, Bob Andrews, Mentoring Chairman Emeritus, encouraged IBOsto work together to make 2020 the best year ever. Vice Chairman Joe Markiewicz assured IBOs theBoard is standing shoulder to shoulder in partnership with the Corporation to develop even stronger,better programs for IBO success. Vinny Pappalardo, Chairman, congratulated IBOs on making 2020 astrong year despite the challenges. He expressed his pride in their accomplishments and optimism fora bright future. Thepassion, energy, and optimism so prevalent whenever IBOs come together tocelebrate success was crystal clear on the screen and in their voices. Achieverswere recognized on video by Pin level, from Emerald to new Diamonds to TripleDiamonds, culminating with new Founders Crowns’ Brad and Julie Duncan.Additional IBOAI Board members recognized were Shivaram & Anjali Kumaras new Triple Diamonds, Dave & Kristen Dussault and Juanita & AntonioMaldonado as new Founders Executive Diamonds, Doug & Amie Weir as newExecutive Diamonds, and Howie & Theresa Danzik as new Double Diamonds.Heroes were recognized in three videos: IBOs, Amway employees, andCommunity Partners, which included U.S. Dream Academy. Prior to this virtualevent, Achievers received a generous package of gifts from Amway including adistinctive journal and pen from the IBOAI in honor of their achievements.NEW PLATINUMRECOGNITION ONLINEReaching their first major milestone in the Business, recognition ofNew Platinums was essential despite restrictions on travel and largegatherings due to COVID. With the safety and health of IBOs and Amway employees in mind, New Platinums were recognized online in 2020.
