INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS“EHK” Electric Heater Kitsfor use in Air HandlersATTENTION INSTALLING PERSONNELPrior to installation, thoroughy familiarize yourself with thisinstallation Manual. Observe all safety warnings. Duringinstallation or repair, caution is to be observed. It is yourresponsibility to install the product safely and to educatethe customer on its safe use.
CAUTIONSENSURE THAT ALL POWER IS DISCONNECTEDPRIOR TO ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION OFTHIS HEATER KIT. THERE MAY BE MORE THANONE DISCONNECT SERVICING THE UNIT.A MEANS OF STRAIN RELIEF AND CONDUCTOR PROTECTION MUST BE PROVIDED AT THESUPPLY WIRE ENTRANCE INTO CABINET.USE COPPER CONDUCTORS ONLY.INSTALLATION MUST FOLLOW NATIONALELECTRIC CODE AND OTHER APPLICABLECODES.IF THIS APPLIANCE IS INSTALLED IN AN ENCLOSED AREASUCH AS A GARAGE OR UTILITY ROOM WITH ANYCARBON MONOXIDE PRODUCING APPLIANCE, ENSURETHE AREA IS PROPERLY VENTILATED.
1.Remove the upper access panel from the air handler.2. Remove the cover plate from the air handler.1
3. Slide the heater kit into the slot and secure elementplate with previously removed screws.4. Align the attachment clip and the hole and fasten theloose wires by using wore tie.attachmentclip2
5.
