ARGENTINAFernando M. Stengel is the Medical Director of BuenosAires Skin and President of the Fundación del Cáncer dePiel, Argentina. He received his MD from the Universityof Buenos Aires Medical School, Argentina, completedhis Internal Medicine Residency at the “Instituto Modelo”,University of Buenos Aires - Hospital Rawson and subsequentlycompleted a Dermatology Residency at New York UniversitySchool of Medicine. Before returning to Argentina he was anAssistant Professor of Dermatology at NYU Medical School,Dpt. of Dermatology.Dr. Stengel served as Editor in Chief and Associate Editorof “Archivos Argentinos de Dermatología” for over 20years, became interim chief of Service at University HospitalDermatology Service and subsequently served as Prof. ofDermatology, Director of the Residency Program and Chiefof the Dermatology Service at “Cemic University Institute”until 2012. His main areas of interest are Photodermatologyand Skin Cancer. He has published over 40 articles, writteneducational booklets for children and youngsters and haspromoted Photoeducation (the knowledge and practice of ahealthy Skin - Sun relation) throughout Latin America. He isformer President of the 2010 RADLA meeting, was ScientificSecretary of the 2007 World Congress of Dermatology inBuenos Aires and President of the World Congress of Cancersof the Skin (Skin Cancer Foundation - 1995).Dr. Stengel is co Director of the Argentine Melanoma Registryand serves as a member of the Editorial Board of Photodermatology, Photoimmunology & Photomedicine. He is an electedhonorary member of multiple dermatology organizations in LatAm and a member of the Argentine Society of Dermatology,American Academy of Dermatology and the American Dermatological Association.LECTURERSPR FERNANDO M. DR RENATO MARCHIORI BAKOSBRAZILRenato Marchiori Bakos, PhD, received his medicaltraining at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande doSul (Porto Alegre, Brazil). He completed his DermatologyResidency at Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre. Heworked as a post-graduate student at Ludwig-MaximilianUniversity of Munich, where he developed research projectsmainly in Oncodermatology for his Fellowship. Prof Bakosis Adjunct Professor at the Department of Dermatology– Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul – Hospital deClínicas de Porto Alegre and is currently the Chairman of theDepartment. He also has a private practice.His main fields of interest in Dermatology are skin cancer anddiagnostic technicques in Dermatology, especially dermoscopy.He coordinates study groups in Oncodermatology at hisinstitution and perform projects with international cooperationand collaboration with Post-Graduate students from the PostGraduation Course in Medical Sciences. He is currentlymember of the Board direction of the International DermoscopySociety and of the Brazilian Group for Melanoma Research(Grupo Brasileiro de Melanomas).He is also effective member of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology, InternationalDermoscopy Society and Brazilian Group for MelanomaResearch. Prof Bakos is a member of the editorial boardof Dermatology Practical & Conceptual.

CHILERaúl Cabrera is Chairman of the Department ofDermatology at Universidad del Desarrollo-ClínicaAlemana de Santiago de Chile. He received his MD fromthe University of Chile and completed his dermatologyresidency at the University of Chile s School of Medicine. Hedid a fellowship in Immunodermatology at the Department ofDermatology at the University of Minnesota, USA, and haspublished many articles in prestigious medical journals in thefields of immunodermatology, skin cancer and dermatoscopy.Dr. Cabrera is member of the Chilean Society of Immunologyand the Chilean Society of Allergy and Immunology. Hebecame president of the Chilean Society of Dermatologyin 2002-2004 and president of the Latin American AnnualMeeting (R.A.D.L.A) in 2006. He has been a member of theIbero-Latin American College of Dermatology (C.I.L.A.D) since1986, and its scientific director from 2008-2012. Dr. Cabrerahas been a member of the American Academy of Dermatologysince 1990, and member of the Committee on InternationalAffairs of the American Academy of Dermatology 1993-1997.He is member of the following editorial boards: “DermatologíaArgentina”, “Revista Chilena de Dermatología”, “EuropeanMedical Journal of Dermatology”, “Treatment StrategiesDermatology”, “Dermatología CMQ, de México” and was aneditorial board member for the Journal of American Academyof Dermatology the years 2004-2012.He is member of the International Dermoscopy Society, and isan honorary member of the Peruvian Society of Dermatology.LECTURERSDR RAÚL CABRERA

DR TATIANA PINTO BLUMETTIBRAZILTatiana Pinto Blumetti, MD, PhD, received her boardcertification in dermatology in 2008 from theUniversidade Federal de São Paulo. Dr. Blumetti s lineof research since 2010 has been the early diagnosisof melanoma and other skin cancers, when she joined theUniversity of Sydney (Australia) for one year as a researchassociate in cutaneous oncology. She has participated inclinical trials on targeted therapies for metastatic melanomaand their adverse cutaneous events and has gained experiencein confocal microscopy.Dr. Blumetti started working at A.C. Camargo Cancer Cencerin 2012 and has since mainly based her clinical practice oncutaneous oncology and research activities in dermatologicimaging (digital dermoscopy in high-risk patients, confocalmicroscopy and optical coherence tomography).Dr. Blumetti obtained her PhD degree working on a study ofoptical coherence tomography in melanocytic lesions.Dr. Blumetti s main fields of research include skin oncology,early diagnosis of melanoma, dermoscopy, confocal microscopy and optical coherence tomography.

DR MARIO E. LACOUTUREUSAMario E. Lacouture is an Associate Professor and thedirector of the Oncodermatology Program in theDermatology Service at Memorial Sloan KetteringCancer Center in New York City. He did hispostdoctoral work at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston,MA, an internship in General Surgery at Cleveland Clinic andresidency in dermatology at The University of Chicago, IL.He received his M.D. degree from Javeriana University inBogota, Colombia, where he grew up.His research interests span the disciplines of dermatologicconditions in cancer patients, and those that arise as aconsequence of chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy or stem celltransplants. Dr. Lacouture is currently the Principal Investigatorfor “The CHANCE Trial”, A Prospective, Longitudinal Studyof Chemotherapy-Induced Hair Changes and Alopecia, SkinAging and Nail Changes in Women with Non-MetastaticBreast Cancer. Dr. Lacouture is a well-known lecturer in the USand abroad on dermatologic conditions as a result of cancertherapies. He founded a clinical program that encompassespatient care, education, and research on dermatologic care incancer patients and survivors.He is currently Co-Chair of the Skin Toxicity Study Group ofthe Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancerand is on the advisory board of Cancer.Net and Bridges, theNewsletter for Cancer Survivors. In 2012, CancerCare namedDr Lacouture as Physician of the Year for his contributions tothe education of people living with cancer. Dr Lacouture haspublished over 180 articles in peer-reviewed journals andis the author of Dr Lacouture’s Skin Care Guide for PeopleLiving With Cancer and Editor of the textbook DermatologicPrinciples and Practice in Oncology.
