BI Publisher/Oracle Analytics Server Licensing Document for OracleEnterprise Manager1.0 INTRODUCTION TO ORACLE ENTERPRISE MANAGER LICENSINGOracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13c (Enterprise Manager) is Oracle's single, integratedsolution for managing all aspects of the Oracle Cloud and the applications running on it. EnterpriseManager couples a potent, top-down monitoring approach to delivering the highest quality of servicefor applications with a cost-effective automated configuration management, provisioning, andadministrative solution. This powerful combination provides unequaled management for any sizeOracle data center.Oracle also offers several options, management packs, management plug-ins, and other productssuch as Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BI Publisher), now re-branded as Oracle AnalyticsServer (OAS) Reports that enhance the capabilities of Enterprise Manager. This document describesthe separately licensed Enterprise Manager Management packs, management plug-ins, and otherproducts you can purchase to enhance the capabilities of Enterprise Manager for BI Publisher/OAS.1.1 LICENSE AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENTUse the options, packs, reports, licensed repository views, or Command Line Interface (CLI) verbsdescribed in this document only with the appropriate licenses.1.2 BI PUBLISHER/OAS LICENSING WITH ENTERPRISE MANAGEREnterprise Manager includes restricted use of BI Publisher/OAS and Business Intelligence Mobile foruse with Enterprise Manager functions and interfaces only. This restricted BI Publisher/OAS licenseallows reporting only against the Enterprise Manager repository and against data dictionary(including AWR and AWR Warehousing data) of target databases. In order to report against other datasources, it is necessary to have the BI Publisher/OAS license.Some Enterprise Manager Management packs include BI Publisher/OAS reports that use a differentdata source. The license to use these reports is provided as part of the license for the relevantmanagement pack. 1.3 LIST OF REPORTS AND MINIMUM LICENSE PACK REQUIREDThe reports listed in this section are covered by more than one license pack, which are needed forevery different target and target types. This list uses the Information in: Oracle Enterprise ManagerCloud Control Licensing Information User Manual , for the list of Views Licensed to each Pack.To obtain reports on Alerts, Configuration, Metrics and other generic functionality you must have thelicense for the specific underline target.
