We willillustrate the deep integration with plant maintenance solutions from SAP and the benefits resulting from this.Facilitated by Claudia Traving, OpenTextPredictive EAM: What, Why, and HowHigh-performance companies use predictive insight to identify untapped opportunities and expose hidden risks buried insidevast amounts of data across many aspects of finance, sales, and operations. Despite the sophisticated use of data in many otheraspects, time-based and reactive maintenance regimes are commonly practiced. These regimes are not optimal because failuresdon’t happen at fixed intervals. Failure patterns are random over time but can be more accurately predicted if we add moredimensions to the picture (for example, vibration). Incorporating additional dimensions allows us to move toward conditionbased maintenance (CBM), yielding improvements in safety, reliability, and cost. However, CBM programs aren’t easy. How do weidentify what data is predictive of failure, collect it, turn it into action, and measure the results? In this presentation, we will show a possible path forward. SAP Predictive Analytics software offers a rich and sophisticatedmodeling environment that can be used by nonstatisticians to identify relevant data for predicting failure. The results of thisanalysis can be fed into Vesta CBM to create a condition-based alert and action framework that is integrated with yourmaintenance processes in the SAP Enterprise Asset Management (SAP EAM) solution to drive the right maintenance at the righttime. To close the loop and drive continuous improvement, SAP Asset Analytics software, powered by SAP HANA, has a completepackage to define, collect, and measure asset performance information to evaluate key areas of EAM.Facilitated by Robert Ericsson, Vesta PartnersCovering Trading and Risk Processes in an Oil and Gas EnvironmentThe BearingPoint energy trading and risk management add-on to the SAP Commodity Management solution for the oil and gasindustries provides fully integrated processes for trading, risk management, and the supply chain in your existing SAP softwareenvironment. It covers all key functionalities for both supply and trading.Facilitated by Karsten Kohl, BearingPointInnovation with SAP Custom DevelopmentThe SAP Custom Development organization provides a unique combination of expertise in the SAP HANA platform, cloud and onpremise deployment, and design thinking to give customers a very user-centric approach to accomplish their end-to-endbusiness needs. SAP Custom Development services allow customers to use their existing SAP investments along with deployingcutting-edge technology solutions to gain the competitive advantage they want.Facilitated by Jens-Stefan Breuker, SAPInnovation Jam: Live on StageEnergizing the oil and gas enterprise by driving agility, performance, and growth with innovations from SAP is at the core of thisconference. MICROFORUMSTUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY, APRIL 14-15, 2015Please find the list of microforums that will run during the breaks below. The times will be announced shortly.Predictive Analytics and Locational Intelligence for Upstream Oil and Gas OrganizationsUpstream oil and gas companies are operating in challenging times. They are trying to maintain optimal production levels whileincreasing recoverable reserves and reducing unplanned well downtime. With numerous disparate information technology (IT)and operational technology (OT) systems, it becomes difficult for a company to get a holistic picture. A variety of analytical toolsand methods, including operational analytics, real-time intelligence, locational analytics, predictive analytics and Big Dataanalytics, provide the most comprehensive insight.Facilitated by Anindya Chatterjee, Rolta India LimitedUpstream Production Operations in an Environment of Low Oil PricesAs oil prices continue to drop to levels not seen for several years, operators are already starting to cut back on new investmentand will inevitably turn to the optimization of their existing production infrastructure in order to continue to deliver the dividendlevels that investors have come to expect. There is historical precedent for this, as our industry has been in repeated cycles of expansion and rationalization for severaldecades. Each time we have seen a leap forward in capabilities around production forecasting, monitoring, management, andoptimization as companies redirect their attention and available investment.Focusing on short-term analytics to evaluate historical performance and identify opportunities to maximize production can helpquickly identify value activities with minimal investment – and the potential for high- value returned.Facilitated by AccentureImproving Work Execution and Operations Content Management Using SAP Master Data GovernanceUnderstand the challenges of asset master data management. Develop a strategy for document-centric and data-centric assetmaster data governance. Learn how to manage master data, engineering data, and capital project information handoverprocesses using the SAP Master Data Governance application, enterprise asset management extension by Utopia.Facilitated by Richard Martin, Rolta, Michael Jordan, Utopia, and Rob Gascho, OpenTextOperations 2015: Using Visual Facility Lifecycle Management to Improve Situational Awareness and Project ExecutionLearn how companies are modernizing the management of critical facilities in the energy industry, and how they are reducing: Financial surprises and cost overruns The time and effort required to demonstrate regulatory compliance Information silos – such as engineering data sources and access to them, including multiple, unconnected sources of data:PDFs, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), Microsoft Word or Excel documents, data sheets Challenges such as managing global project resources and workloads across business unitsFacilitated by George Earle, SAPThis event is co-located with the International SAP Conferencefor Utilities!
