Your generosity will make someone’sholiday a little brighter. This week we hosted theLady of Guadalupe Torch in our school. Thechildren did a wonderful job participating in all ofthe events. Ask them tomorrow when you arehaving dinner what we did, the songs we sang,and the crafts they made in class. Today we had avery special Thanksgiving prayer service, led byFather Mike. The 8th graders also put on a readerstheater and then the rosary club led us in prayingthe rosary.I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!Enjoy this time with friends and family. We have somuch to be thankful for at St. Paul School!Our middle school Activity Tutorial Period (ATP) willbegin on November 28th. We are excited to offer aService Club, Brain Games, Building andConstruction, Intro to Philosophy, Stress Relief, andElectric Car. A huge thank you to Ms. Wahner, Mrs.Murray, Ms. Santini, Mr Heffernan, Mrs. WayVechesky and Mr. Robbins for helping to run thisprogram.As I have said many times over the last 6months, I am extremely grateful to be at St. PaulSchool. This place is special and I am so happy tocome to work every day. Thank you for welcomingme as your Principal and making my family feel sowelcome. I feel very blessed to have such awonderful staff, hardworking parents who run atop notch PTA, and of course your children. Evenon the hardest days, they make it all worth it.Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the long weekend.5th and 8th grade parents, a sealed envelope wassent home with information about Family Life.Please review it and return all materials byNovember 30th.St. Paul School Community: A wonderfulopportunity has been brought forward by one ofour parents. A local NJ resident is collecting “Wish”letters to help raise money for the Make-A-WishFoundation. For each letter collected, Macy’s willdonate 1.00. In today’s Weekly News, you willfind the letter template and more informationabout this fundraiser. We ask that you and yourfamily take some time over the next week to writea “Wish” letter. It could be a great activity whileeveryone is digesting their Thanksgiving meals!Students will also be writing letters in class but thisletter writing campaign is open to adults as well.St. Paul School will be collecting all letters onNovember 30th to get them in the mail on time."The Christian who walks with the Lord and keepsconstant communion with Him will see manyreasons for rejoicing and thanksgiving all daylong."- Warren W. Please know that we are at the mercy of ourtransportation districts when these decisions aremade. Once a decision is made, we will send aHoneywell alert, the website will have a messageposted where our slides normally rotate and you willreceive a "principal email". Please make sure you haveupdated your Honeywell settings and have our websitebookmarked. If you would like other email addressesadded to the principal distribution list, please email theinformation to Mrs. Stankiewicz atjstankiewicz@stpaulbrl.org.Also, please keep in mind that if your child/ren arebused to school, you will need to check with yourdistrict to be sure they are running transportation.We Need VolunteersPTA is preparing for Santa's Workshop, whichwill open immediately after our Thanksgivingbreak: November 26th - November 29th. Thisis an exciting event for our students, butcannot function without volunteers. Pleaseconsider volunteering for a few hours to helpour students with their shopping and giftwrapping. This is such a fun activity with thestudents and a great way to achieve your 3additional required service hours. Please seethe attached flyer for the class schedule andvolunteer sign-up form in today's WeeklyNews.Christmas Wreath SaleThe 8th grade is having a fresh Christmas Wreathsale to offset the cost of their class trip to New YorkCity. Two wreath choices are available at a cost ofeither 20 or 25. Orders must be placed byNovember 29th. Pick up day is Tuesday, December4th. Please see the attached flyer/order form intoday’s Weekly News.Please mark your calendars!Our annual Christmas concert will be heldon Thursday, December 20, 6:30pm!All of our students perform in thisheartwarming Christmas tradition.2
