NISSAN’S CUSTOMER CARE PROGRAMBBB AUTO LINE is an informal disputesettlement mechanism operated tocomply with applicable Federal law andregulations. In states where BBB AUTOLINE is available, you are required to useBBB AUTO LINE before exercising rightsor seeking remedies under Title I of theFederal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, 15U.S.C. §2301, et. seq. If you choose to seekremedies other than those created byTitle I of the Magnuson-Moss WarrantyAct, (for example, under state law), thatFederal Act does not require you to firstuse BBB AUTO LINE. The program isstill available to you, however, and maybe of considerable assistance. 4NISSAN’S COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTIONASSISTANCE OUTSIDE OFWARRANTYIn our continuing effort to convey ourcommitment to service and customersatisfaction, Nissan may occasionallyoffer to pay or reimburse for part or allof the cost of making certain, specificrepairs beyond or outside of the termsof the warranty for some specific vehiclemodels. (Some states refer to suchprograms as “adjustment” programs). Insuch circumstances Nissan mails noticesto all known registered owners of affectedvehicles. You may additionally inquire ofyour authorized Nissan dealer or of Nissandirectly at the number listed below of theapplicability of such programs to yourvehicle.Nissan may occasionally offer specialassistance that may pay for part or allof vehicle repairs beyond the expirationof the limited warranty period on a caseby case basis. Should you experienceunusual difficulties with your vehicleplease discuss the situation with yourdealer. If your dealer is unable to assistyou, you may call the Nissan ConsumerAffairs Department at 1-800- NISSAN-1(1-800-647-7261) to discuss your concern.You will need to provide the Model, ModelYear, VIN (Vehicle Identification Number),mileage, maintenance history, a detailedexplanation of the concern, and why youbelieve that Nissan should be responsiblefor the repair. Your request will beindividually investigated and you will beinformed of Nissan’s decision.Please review the “Supplement to the2018 Nissan Warranty InformationBooklet & 2018 Nissan Owner’s Manual”for important information concerningconsumer rights in your state.

2018 NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTYWHO IS THE WARRANTORNissan warrants all parts of your 2018Nissan vehicle supplied by Nissan, exceptfor those listed elsewhere under thecaption “WHAT IS NOT COVERED.”1APPLICABILITY This warranty is provided to the originaland subsequent owner(s) of a Nissanvehicle originally distributed by Nissanwhich is originally sold by a Nissanauthorized Nissan dealership in theUnited States, and which is registeredin the U.S. and normally operated inthe United States (including Alaska andHawaii), the United States territories(specifically Guam, Saipan, AmericanSamoa, Puerto Rico and the U.S. VirginIslands), and Canada. This warranty is generally transferablefrom the original ‘owner other than aNissan dealer’ (OWNER) to subsequentowners of the vehicle at any timeownership of the vehicle is transferred,without any action on your part; exceptthat this warranty is not transferablebut is instead VOID if during the first sixmonths after delivery to the originalOWNER: (1) ownership of the vehicle istransferred from the original OWNER,and (2) the vehicle is registered outsideof the United States.12 Your Nissan vehicle is manufacturedto meet U.S. regulations andenvironmental requirements. With theexception of privately owned vehiclesbelonging to members of the U.S.military or employees and officers of theUnited States Government stationedabroad, this warranty does not applyif an otherwise covered vehicle isoperated in, or relocated to, a countryother than those listed above underthis caption, except that it continuesto apply if the vehicle is operated infull compliance with its proper use asdescribed in the applicable Owner’sManual2 while touring outside of theUnited States, the U.S. territories orCanada for a period not exceeding sixty(60) consecutive days or sixty (60) daysin any one 12 month period. Subject tothe transferability restriction describedabove, this warranty applies to arelocated vehicle which is returned to,and is registered and normally operatedin the United States, the U.S. territoriesor Canada, except for conditions due tothe vehicle’s foreign operation, e.g., useof inappropriate fuels or other fluids.5Nissan1 makes available to you, and youare specifically required by Federal Lawto use BBB AUTO LINE [(800) 955-5100]before exercising rights or seekingremedies under the Federal MagnusonMoss Warranty Act, 15 U.S.C. §2301, et.seq. 62018 NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTYLIMITATION OF WARRANTIES AND OTHERWARRANTY TERMS AND STATE LAWRIGHTSEXTRA EXPENSES - LIMITATIONS OFDAMAGESThis warranty does not cover incidentalor consequential damages such as lossof the use of the vehicle, inconvenienceor commercial loss.ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OFMERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR APARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL BE LIMITEDTO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTENWARRANTY.Some states do not allow theexclusion or limitation of incidental orconsequential damages or limitations onhow long an implied warranty lasts, sothe above limitations or exclusions maynot apply to you. This warranty gives youspecific legal rights, and you may alsohave other rights which vary from stateto state.Nissan1 does not authorize any personto create for it any other warranty,obligation or liability in connection withthis vehicle.1THE WARRANTY BEGINSThe warranty period begins on the date thevehicle is delivered to the first retail buyeror put into use, whichever is earlier.FOR HOW LONG AND WHAT ISCOVERED BASIC COVERAGE The basic coverage period is 36months or 36,000 miles, whichevercomes first. This warranty covers any repairsneeded to correct defects inmaterials or workmanship of all partsand components of each new Nissanvehicle supplied by Nissan subjectto the exclusions listed under theheading “WHAT IS NOT COVERED” or,if the part is covered by one of theseparate coverages described in thefollowing sections of this warranty,that specific coverage applies insteadof the basic coverage. Bedliners will be repaired tocommercially acceptable standardssubject to the conditions andlimitations listed in “WHAT ISNOT COVERED”. SUPPLEMENTALRESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS). POWERTRAIN COVERAGE The Powertrain coverage period is 60months or 60,000 miles, whichevercomes first. This warranty covers any repairsneeded to correct defects inmaterials or workmanship. Powertrain coverage applies tocomponents listed below under theheadings Engine, Transmission andTransaxle, Drivetrain, and RestraintSystem, supplied by Nissan subjectto the exclusions listed under theheading “WHAT IS NOT COVERED”.ENGINE Cylinder heads and block and allinternal parts, rocker covers andoil pan, valve train and front cover,timing chain and tensioner, oilpump, water pump and fuel pump,fuel injectors, intake and exhaustmanifolds and turbocharger, flywheel,seals, and gaskets.TRANSMISSION AND TRANSAXLE Case and all internal parts, torqueconverter and converter housing,automatic transmission controlmodule, transfer case and all internalparts, seals and gaskets, clutchcover and housing, A/T cooler, andelectronic transmission controls.Nissan indicates Nissan North America, Inc., P.O. 2018 NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTYDRIVETRAIN Drive shafts, final drive housing, andall internal parts, propeller shafts,universal joints, bearings, seals andgaskets.RESTRAINT SYSTEM Air bags and related electroniccontrol systems ORROSION COVERAGE (PERFORATIONCFROM CORROSION) Any body sheet metal panel suppliedby Nissan found to have developedperforation (rust-through) due tocorrosion in normal use is coveredfor 60 months, regardless of mileage,subject to the exclusions listed underthe heading “WHAT IS NOT COVERED”.No additional rust proofing applicationsare required. Perforation is a conditionin which any body sheet metal panel hascorroded from one surface through toanother. TOWING COVERAGE If your vehicle is inoperative due to thefailure of a warranted part, during anyof the New Vehicle Limited Warranties,including Emission and Seatbeltwarranties, towing service to thenearest authorized Nissan dealership iscovered. ADJUSTMENT COVERAGE Service adjustments not usuallyassociated with the replacement ofparts, such as wheel alignment andwheel balancing, are covered onlyduring the first 12 months or 12,000miles, whichever comes first. Limited 6 month warranty coverage: OE wiper blade inserts are coveredfor the first six months of ownership. REFRIGERANT RECHARGE ONLYCOVERAGE Refrigerant recharge not associatedwith the repair or replacement of awarranted part is covered only duringthe first 12 months, regardless of themileage.NO CHARGEWarranty repairs will be made at no chargefor parts and/or labor (except for tires, inwhich case you may pay certain chargesas noted above or as described in theapplicable tire warranty found later in thisbooklet). Any needed parts replacementwill be made using Genuine Nissan orNissan approved new or remanufacturedparts. Nissan reserves the right to makechanges at any time, without notice, toproduction and service parts in theirspecifications, colors, and materials,including those used in connection withwarranty repairs. For this reason, whenapproved by Nissan and at Nissan’s7discretion, functionally equivalentreplacement parts may be used that donot exactly match the original productionpart.OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE You must take the vehicle to anauthorized Nissan dealer in the UnitedStates or Canada during regularbusiness hours at your expense inorder to obtain warranty service. Thenames and addresses of authorizedNissan dealers are listed in telephonedirectories and inwww.NissanUSA.com. If you require warranty service outsideof the United States (see terms undercaption “APPLICABILITY”), contact anauthorized Nissan dealer in that country.MAINTENANCE, DATA ACCESS,AND RECORDSAs a condition of this warranty, you areresponsible for properly using, maintainingand caring for your vehicle as outlined inyour Owner’s Manual, and maintainingcopies of all maintenance records &receipts for review by Nissan.You are also required to provide consentto give Nissan access to data stored onvehicle systems. 82018 NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTYEvidence of the performance of therequired maintenance should be kept andpresented as proof of such maintenance inconnection with related warranty repairs.To assist you in maintaining appropriaterecords, the maintenance log located inyour Nissan Owner’s Manual can be usedalong with supporting repair invoices,receipts and other such records.WHAT IS NOT COVEREDGENERAL EXCLUSIONSThis warranty does not cover damage,failures or corrosion resulting from orcaused by: Failure to operate the vehicle inaccordance with the Owner’s Manual Misuse, such as using the vehicle to tow Failure of a component not covered bywarranty Racing and competitive driving Theft, vandalism, fire, or flooding(including engine water ingestion) Accident, collision, being towed Repairs performed by anyone otherthan an authorized Nissan dealer Glass breakage, unless resulting fromdefects in material or workmanship Normal wear and tear, including dings,dents, chips, or scratches Damage caused by any automated ormanually operated car wash or by usinga pressure washerNote that complaints related to failureto comply with proper use of the vehicleas described in the applicable Owner’sManual, or the vehicle’s lack of compliancewith local regulations or environmentalrequirements of any country (other thanthe U.S. or Canada) are NOT covered by thiswarranty.DAMAGE OR FAILURES DUE TOALTERATION OR MODIFICATIONThis warranty does not cover damage,failures or corrosion resulting from orcaused by: Alteration, tampering, or improperrepair. Installation of non-Nissan approvedaccessories or components. Improper installation of any Nissanapproved aftermarket accessory orcomponent. A vehicle whose odometer mileage hasbeen altered, or the odometer repairedor replaced and the actual vehiclemileage cannot be correctly and readilydetermined.SALVAGE TITLEThis limited warranty does not apply to anyvehicle, and is rendered VOID if the vehicleis (or ever has been) issued a “salvage” orsimilar title including, but not limited tojunk, scrap, rebuilt, or flood titles under anystate’s law; or has ever been determinedto be a “total loss” or equivalent by anyinsurance company, such as by payment ofa cash payment of claim in lieu of repairsbecause of a determination that the cost ofrepairs exceeded the actual cash value ofthe vehicle.DAMAGE, FAILURES OR CORROSIONFROM ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONSThis warranty does not cover damage,failures or corrosion resulting from orcaused by: Stone chipping, chemical fallout (acidrain), tree sap, salt, hail, windstorm,lightning, flood or other environmentalconditions. The items listed below are not coveredunder corrosion coverage (perforationfrom corrosion). Exhaust system components. Corrosion of outer trim parts, such asmoldings. However, corrosion of outertrim parts is warranted for 12 monthsor 12,500 miles, whichever comesfirst. Corrosion other than perforation,such as cosmetic or surface corrosiondue to defects in materials orworkmanship. This is covered underthe Basic Coverage of the NewVehicle Limited Warranty. Fuel, fluids, or lubricants that arecontaminated or that do not meet thespecification as outlined in your Owner’sManual. Use of parts not equivalent in quality ordesign to parts supplied by Nissan.MAINTENANCE SERVICE EXPENSEThis warranty does not cover normalmaintenance services as specified in bothyour Owner’s Manual such as cleaningand polishing, wheel alignment, headlightaiming, replacement of filters, replacementof windshield wiper inserts, lubricants,coolant, worn brake shoes, pads, drumsand rotors and worn clutch discs, forexample.SEAT BELTS, TIRES, DROP-IN BEDLINERSAND EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEMSeat belts, tires, drop-in bedliners and theemission control system are not coveredby this warranty, but are covered byseparate warranties.NISSAN SPRAY-IN BEDLINERSNissan Spray-in Bedliners will be repairedto commercially acceptable standardswhich may include minor appearancedifferences from the original bedliner.NOTE:The following pages are separatewarranties which may apply to yourNissan, such as those covering vehicleemissions, seat belts, and tires.9

10FEDERAL VEHICLE EMISSION CONTROL LIMITED WARRANTIESEMISSION DEFECTS WARRANTYNissan1 warrants that your vehicle wasdesigned, built and equipped to conform atthe time of sale with all applicable UnitedStates emission standards.This warranty covers any repairs neededto correct defects in materials orworkmanship which would cause yourvehicle not to meet these standards.WHAT IS COVERED UNDER THEDEFECTS WARRANTYCovered components are listed belowunder the caption “WARRANTY PARTSLIST.” Exceptions to this warranty are listedbelow under the caption “WHAT IS NOTCOVERED UNDER EITHER THE DEFECTS ORPERFORMANCE WARRANTIES.”HOW LONG IS THE DEFECTSWARRANTYThis warranty is for 3 years or 36,000miles, whichever occurs first. The warrantybegins the date the vehicle is deliveredto the first retail buyer or put into use,whichever is earlier. Additionally, the enginecontrol module / onboard diagnosticdevice and catalytic converter(s) listedbelow and indicated by an “O” underthe caption “WARRANTY PARTS LIST”are covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles,whichever occurs first.1EMISSIONS PERFORMANCEWARRANTY WHEN DOES THISWARRANTY APPLYWHAT IS COVERED AND FOR HOWLONG UNDER THE PERFORMANCEWARRANTYThe Emission Performance warrantyapplies to your 2018 Nissan vehicle ONLYwhen both of the following occur.1. The vehicle fails to meet applicableemissions standards as judged byan emissions test approved by theEnvironmental Protection Agency(EPA).2. This failure results or will resultin some penalty to you, such as amonetary fine or the denial of theright to use your vehicle, under local,state or federal law.For example, if your state requires anEPA approved yearly vehicle inspectionbefore you receive a renewed license, thiswarranty applies to your vehicle. In areaswhere there is no approved test program,this warranty does not apply.Nissan1 warrants that it will remedy anynon-conformity in your vehicle whichcauses it to fail an approved emissionstest during the first 24 months or 24,000miles, whichever occurs first.
