Dear Loving Soul,Even though you may find your life deficient of love or if you are going through asituation right now that’s making you question about the existence of love, I wantyou to know that it’s possible to experience love in a more positive light. At heart,you are a loving soul. You have the capacity to love yourself and others too.The way back to an open heart is to start with the self. This means that you needto love yourself – fully and unconditionally. You are NOT being selfish or selfcentered when you pay attention to the self. In fact, it is imperative that youundertake self-care and practice self-loving. Not in an egoistic or narcissisticmanner of course, but in way that is healthy and soulful.If you have read my book Self-Love Secrets, you are already making a great start! Irecommend that you follow up with some action steps. In this report, I give youa checklist of items that you can implement for practicing healthy self-love.Hence, be ready to apply practical steps that you can integrate holistically intoyour life.To begin, you need to know where you are at with self-love. What are yourcurrent habits, actions and behavior like when you think about how you’ve beentreating yourself.Let’s do a simple test. What happens when you look in the mirror? Are youmostly engaged in positive or negative self-talk? If all you can notice are flawsand have nothing good to say about yourself, then you could be havingself-love difficulties.4

With insufficient self-love, you forget to celebrate all that you are. Because youbelieve that you are missing some important gene or are unfortunate enough to be borninto circumstances that are less than favorable, you don’t believe that you are goodenough. You build up resentment towards yourself and your life.Fortunately, it is possible to shift from self-resentment or hatred towards unconditionalself-love. Just having the awareness is not enough. You need to adopt different habitsand undertake new actions for making a real and integrated shift.Refer to the checklist in the next page. Print it out! Check the boxes of the activitiesthat you are choosing to do today .5

Self-Love Checklist 1. Eliminate Self-Criticism. Do you often berate yourself over the tiniestthing? Is there a little voice inside your head that often tells you that you are nogood because you are stupid or make mistakes? If you find that you criticizeyourself often, make an effort to stop the self-criticism.For today, be mindful about what you are saying to yourself. Bring a notebookwith you and jot down the specific things you’ve been criticizing yourself on. Atthe end of the day, review your notebook and make a conscious decision not tosay these things to yourself anymore. Cross each sentence out and say the words“cancel, cancel, cancel” with intention. 2. Journal. Journaling is a great exercise for self-discovery and knowing oneself. Acknowledging what you feel is an important part of the healing process.Journaling offers an opportunity for you to process your feelings and thoughtsand choosing a better way forward. In case you are mistaken, journaling isbacked by scientific studies that it benefits health. Grab a pen and start to journal! 3. Celebrate Yourself. Review your wins, strengths and achievements. Writeout what these are, under three separate categories in your journal. Afterfinishing this exercise, take a step back and read what you’ve written. 4. Acknowledge Your Effort. It is not always about winning or coming up topsin everything that you do. Many times, it is about the progress that you’ve made.Hence, think about the areas of improvement that you’ve made from 3 or 5 yearsago. Write these down in your journal. You may just begin to realize that thereare many reasons why you should feel good about yourself.6

5. Release your emotional pain today. Address the root cause of your pain.Resolve past trauma. Heal your inner child. Work with a counselor or a therapistcoach like myself if you have trouble letting go of the past and moving on. As it issaid, worrying is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do but it gets younowhere. Worrying is a bad habit. Just for today, give yourself a break fromworry. Or, if you find it tough, make it half a day or 30 minutes. Put on a smile andcommit to feeling positive. Bring your mind back to the present, if you findyourself thinking and fretting about the future. 7. Make Positive Affirmations. Reframe your mind with positive affirmations.Support yourself with some loving self-love affirmations such as:- I deeply and completely love and accept myself.- I commit to loving myself whole-heartedly.- I am deserving and worthy of the best that life can offer!Repeat these affirmation at least 3 times over 3 times today. Do them in themorning, noon time and just before bedtime. 8. Express Gratitude. Express gratitude for the good that is going on in yourlife. Also, feel a sense of gratitude that you are alive and well, and fully capable oftaking charge of your life. List down 3 items about yourself that you’d like toexpress thanks for. 9. Create a Vision Board. Vision boards are fun to make. Cut out pictures ofyour dreams or goals and paste them onto a board. Spend time dreaming aboutliving your best life!7

10. Stop comparing yourself to others. Stop judging yourself by looking atother people’s successes. For today, do a digital detox. Avoid going ontoinstagram or facebook, so that you can stop checking out what other people arereporting. 11. Compliment your appearance in the mirror. Body fat percentage doesnot make you less of a human being. When looking at yourself in the mirrortoday, ensure that you are making nice compliments about yourself. Celebrate theparts about yourself that make you feel good. 12. Stop spending time with negative people who put you down. Declineany invitation from these people to meet up. Establish some form of boundary.Say “no” to being near them. Your time is best spent with those who truly care foryour well-being. 13. Spend “me” time. It’s okay to want to stay home to recharge your energy.Give yourself the permission to take a break and to have “me” time. You’d emergea lot more energized and at peace. 14. Stop blaming others. Anger is poison that you carry in the body. Instead,take charge of your life and how you feel. If you find that you’ve got deepresentment issues, work on addressing them.8

15. Meditate.Practice the following for 5 minutes Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out.Breathe in and breathe out and just let go of any stress and tension that you maybe feeling.This is a special day and we don’t want to carry any old baggage with us anylonger. Like a cloud, let the past float away.Put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly. And as you breathequietly, notice how comforting that feels.Next, place attention on your heart. Be aware that you have the capacity to loveand accept yourself more freely from now.You are here for yourself. And as you release yesterday and even this moment,you allow your full attention to come into this day, this hour, this time. 16. Resolve the issues you might have with your loved ones. Instead ofavoiding, make a call to resolve issues. Tell those who matter how much you lovethem and that you’d like to have a stronger relationship with them. 17. Read self-help or spiritual books. You’d find yourself gaining newperspectives that can help you improve your life. Spend some time nourishingyour mind today. As far as I know, no one has never ever not made a sillymistake. If you trip over your feet in front of your boss, don't obsess over howembarrassing it is. Make it a joke or/and simply move on. Decide that you won’ttake yourself too seriously, from now on. 19. Travel. What’s on your bucket list of locations? Traveling opens up themind and does wonders for your psyche. It’s very different from getting to knowa country from television and actually making a trip there. Make a travel bookingright away! 20. Take mindfulness walk in the park. Stop to smell the flowers. Noticeeverything. Feel everything. Be present to the pink blush of the flowers in yourgarden, the greenness of the plains, the whisper of the gentle wind, or the myriadhues of an evening sky. Take a walk in the park outside right now. 21. Have Fun. Inject some fun into your life. Life is meant to be an enjoyable.10

Engage in a fun activity today. Is it rock climbing, drinking tea with friends,shopping or water-skiing? What’s fun for you? 22. Follow your passion. What fuels you? Know that what you are worthy ofpursuing it. Take a step closer to your dream today. Possible action steps: createa blog, shoot a video, sign up for a class or write a book. 23. Accept that you will never be able to please everyone. Stop pleading orbegging others to show you affection from now. Don’t wait around for things tohappen with them either. Not everyone will like you, just as you won't likeeveryone you meet. That's perfectly fine also. 24. Undertake self-care. Go to a spa, take breaks and treat yourself to a nicemeal. Do something special for yourself because you deserve self-care. 25. Eat healthily. Take a good meal today. Avoid processed foods. Practicemindful eating. Don’t rush through like you always do but take your time to savoryour meal. 26. Support yourself holistically with essential oils. Essential oils arenature’s tools that can help us restore our wellness holistically. Do you know thatthe sense of smell is closely linked with memory, probably more so than any ofyour other senses? 27. Be active. Exercising releases endorphins and contributes to your level ofhappiness. Put on your sports gear and hit the gym! Alternatively, sign up andattend a yoga class today. 28. Go on retreats. Book or go on a spiritual, detox fasting or holistic getaway.Make the intent that this is not going to be the usual travel vacation whereby youpack in sightseeing, shopping and/or lots of activities or fulfil your bucket list.Instead, the retreat that you are now booking is for restoring mind, body andspirit wellness. Your tired body totally needs this retreat! 29. View an inspiring TED talk. Listen in on an inspirational or educationaltalk. There are tons of videos that can help you with self-understanding. Yoursoul has an innate desire to evolve and grow. Satisfy its desire today! 30. Invest in your learning. Attend workshops and buy programs for self-improvement. Learn from the masters. They can help you with better answers.You are the best asset to grow! Invest in yourself and stand to reap dividends.12
