Eleventh Sundayy in Ordinaryy TimeJune 17, 2018INTRODUCING .Fr. Scott Bailey and Fr. Eric ZegeerFr. Scott Bailey—PastorFather Scott Bailey grew up in Thornton, CO. He studiedEnglish Education and Theater at Colorado State Universitybefore transferring to St. John Vianney Seminary in Denver. As a priest he has served at St. Frances Cabrini parish,and he has been the priest-secretary for Archbishop Aquila forthe last four years. This is Fr. Scott’s first assignment as apastor. While he knows that Msgr. McDaid has left big shoesto fill, he trusts that the Lord is the true Pastor of the parish. He is grateful to Msgr. McDaid for his fraternity andmentorship in the midst of this transition, and he is grateful forthe wonderful staff at Risen Christ for everything they do. Fr.Scott looks forward to becoming a part of this parish community!Fr. Eric Zegeer—Parochial VicarFr. Eric David Zegeer was born near Chicago to a mother fromPuerto Rico and a father from Kentucky, of Lebanese descent,and grew up mostly in South Florida. Upon graduating fromFranciscan University of Steubenville in 1999, he entered seminary and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Miamiin 2005, at the age of 28.
