The qualificationIntroductionThe VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistrywill enable you to work as a professionalmake-up artist.You will gain skills and knowledge in instructingclients on make-up application, media make-upincluding applying small ready-made prostheticpieces, fashion and photographic make-up,camouflage make-up, face and body art.You will also have the opportunity to gain skillsin airbrush make-up, styling and fitting head andfacial postiche (wigs and hairpieces) or Mendhiskin decoration.PrerequisiteLearners who wish to undertake thisqualification must also achieve the VTCT(ITEC) Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention(COVID-19) for Make-up Services qualificationor a regulated equivalent.2National Occupational Standards (NOS)Units in this qualification have been mappedto the relevant NOS (where applicable).
