Attendance PoliciesAttendance on Mondays will betaken by 12:00 p.m.At Clearview, on Mondays, we will take attendance during the morningmeeting, and/or during small-group learning sessions. Those students will bemarked ‘present’ or ‘absent’ for attendance. If a child is marked ‘absent’parents will receive a call from FCPS’s eNotify system - just confirm your childhas been working independently (asynchronously), and they will be marked‘present.’

Attendance PoliciesAttendance will be taken daily by 3:35p.m. per the FCPS attendance policy.At Clearview, Tuesday-Friday, we will take attendance during the morningmeeting, during synchronous instruction, specials, and small-groupinstruction. Similar to the procedure on Monday stated above, FCPS’s eNotifysystem will contact parents to confirm ‘present’ or ‘absent’ if a student isinitially marked ‘absent.’

Parents Helping at Home Dedicate a space where your child can do their work. Set routines, stick to schedules, establish rules about the school day. Eat a healthy breakfast. Bedtime/rest - 8 hours of sleep each night. When you can, monitor your child when they are on the computer.

Parents Helping at Home Read/look at books with your child. Outdoor activity - encourage exercise and play outside during breaks,after school, and on weekends. Try to limit additional screen time after school. Talk to your child and ask questions about school each day!
