This is our new normal.Every day of 2020 brought new information, a new set of circumstances, a newway to live our lives. We lost privileges. We lost loved ones. We lost our senseof safety. Our sense of self. I have to believe that in between those moments ofloss, we also found something. We found new ways of communicating with eachother. We found out what we could do without. We found out how strong we are.DIRECTOR'S NOTEThis project was born from the unique situation we find ourselves in today. It is being streamed online. Our rehearsal process took place remotely. Thevideo segments were filmed individually by the cast and edited together by anextremely skilled videographer.New beginnings aren’t always joyous occasions, but they always teach ussomething. That we can make peace, let go, and if we choose, embrace the futurethat hopefully turns out even better than we could have imagined. In 2019 these circumstances would have been unthinkable.but look at themagic we created by letting go of what was and embracing what is.--Monique Midgette, director67
