This also sets the electrons of the mental bodyinto motion with additional discordant vibrations.This in turn stirs up etheric memories, thingsthat may have happened long ago, and all thiscan result not only in discord, but in illnessesand physical distresses. As a result, you arerequired to recreate harmony all over again.

Yet, repression of emotions is not the answer to sublimate theouter self. What makes him different isthat his consciousness is very much greater than that ofmost people: the Master has an ideal, he sees things from ahigher point of view and above all, he has achieved perfectcontrol over himself. It takes an enormous amount of time andwork to achieve this, and that is why no one can become aMaster in a single incarnation.

Should you meet a Master,you must realize that all thequalities and virtues that hemanifests have not beenacquired in just this onelifetime. He will have had towork over centuries, evenmillennia, and the qualitieshe has attained are by hisown work. From incarnationto incarnation, he keepsadding new spiritualelements to his being untilthe day comes when he cantruly conduct light andheavenly virtues.

A true Master is a being whoknows the essential verities,the essential truths as seenby Cosmic Intelligence. I, too, have had to work yearsand years on myself and thereis nothing more difficult thanthat. The soul and the spirit areof divine essence and they canbe seen and understood assuch in their work, but they mustalso be seen and understoodthrough matter, through thephysical body. Spirit, which is all knowing and all powerful onhigh, has to look at itself through the mirror of matter.
