E L I T E S TAT U SAttaining Elite Member StatusAs you earn qualifying flight miles, you’ll become eligible for membership inthe AAdvantage program’s AAdvantage Executive Platinum,AAdvantage Platinum,, and AAdvantage Gold elelite-status levels.Each level offers exclusive services and benefits including: An exclusive, direct hot-line number forreservations, seating requests and meal requests Complimentary upgrades for you and onecompanion based on qualifying fare purchased* AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantage Goldmembers receive four 500-mile electronic upgradesfor every 10,000 qualifying base miles earned** AAdvantage Gold members receive a 25% mileagebonus while AAdvantage Platinum and AAdvantageExecutive Platinum members earn a 100% mileagebonus on the base or guaranteed minimum miles foreligible flights** Priority boarding Recognition of your elite status by all airlines in theoneworld allianceone Discounted Admirals Club membershipsAs we track your qualifying activity, we’ll notify you when you qualify for membership in one ofthese premium levels. Select“Subscribe” beside “AAdvantage eSummary” andclick “SUBMIT” to receive your summary every month. To ensure complete accuracy,please retain any flight documents and original paid invoices (from any othertransactions) until the mileage credit appears on your summary.SMRedeeming Your MilesTicket AwardsUse your miles for travel on American Airlines, American Eagle, AmericanConnection or one of ourparticipating airlines. MileSAMileSAAverMileSAcAc ver awards are the best choice when you can plan a trip in advance. They are subject toAvercapacity controls,but can be claimed for fewer miles. AAcAAnytimeAc nytime awards are not subject to capacity controls and may be used for travel on any flight, onany day (provided the flight is not completely sold out). Awards are available on American Airlines. oneoneworld awards are valid for travel on all eight oneoneworld airlines, and allow travel to multipledestinations on a single award.
