DREAM TEAM DESCRIPTIONS:ADMIN TEAMAdmin Team: Team members use administrative gifts to supportGraceway teams with computer skills, data entry with attention to detailas well as general office tasks. Call Team members reach out to visitorsto welcome them.ATHLETICS (YOUTH)Division Leader: Team members communicate and provide support tocoaches to ensure the participants have a great experience.Head Coach: Team members mentor children while teaching the sport.They communicate with children, parents, leaders, and coaches.Assistant Coach: Team members assist head coaches in runningpractice, mentoring children, and communicating with families.Umpire / Ref: Team members are familiar with the sport (baseball,softball, soccer) and help to create a friendly and safe environment forchildren and families.Grounds Crew: Prepares fields in between games.Scorekeeper: Team members keep score for one-two games eachweekend.ATHLETICS (ADULT)Captain: Team members are effective communicators and work to builda cohesive team.3

Umpire / Ref: Team members are familiar with the sport (baseball,softball, soccer) and help to create a friendly and safe environment forchildren and families.Scorekeeper: Team members keep score for one-two games eachweekend.CARELicensed Professional Counselors and other Care Givers: Workingwith Graceway pastors to help others in their time of need.Congregational Care: Hospital visits, follow-up on prayer requests,providing one-on-one support for those going through difficult times.COMMUNIONCommunion Set-up Team: The setup team arrives prior to serviceto prepare the elements for communion.Server: The servers distribute the elements to the congregation duringthe worship services.Communion Cleanup Team: The cleanup team takes care of puttingaway the elements after communion services.COMMUNITY OUTREACHBishop Sullivan Center: Serve in the community kitchen, 2ndWednesday of each month from 4:00-6:30pm.Community LINC: Support transitional housing for families getting backon their feet. Help with apartment set-up, budgeting, painting and othersupport needs.4

REAP (Raytown Community Assistance Program): Support fooddrives and other special events.Schools (Raytown and Kansas City): We partner with two elementaryschools in our neighborhood by providing weekly math, reading,lunchroom buddies as well as event support. Most events need people tohelp during weekday school hours.Prison & Detention Home Ministry Team: Build relationships withinmates via bible studies, counseling, and family support opportunities.City Union Mission: Support the local rescue mission in areas such asfood sorting and preparation, facilities maintenance, clothing and fooddrives, chapel preaching and various seasonal outreach programs.Circuit Riders Preaching Team: This team is available on variousSundays to lead worship services and preach at a variety of locationsincluding churches that are between pastors or that have a pastor onfurlough, rest homes, and hospitals.CONNECTIONS/HOSPITALITYBaptistery Team: Our baptistery team provides a welcomingenvironment for those getting baptized by assisting them from the checkin process through their baptism.Parking: The Parking Team are the first people that first-time guests andmembers interact with when they arrive at Graceway. This team isstrategically located in the parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks on ourproperty.Greeters: Our greeters welcome guests to the building by helpingpeople out of their cars, opening doors, and guiding them through themain lobby area.5

Guides : Our guides assist first time guests and families in locating kids’and students’ classrooms and the auditorium while providing informationabout the church.Hosts: Our hosts receive guests that have planned their visit in advanceand host them throughout their first Sunday morning visit.Ushers: Our ushers welcome guests to the auditorium and assist peoplein finding seats. These team members also collect the weekly offering.Guest Central: Our guest central team helps our first time guests meetthe pastors and assist guests and members with needs that arise duringthe worship services.Welcome & NextSteps Desks: Our Welcome & NextSteps Desks teamswork assist first time guests and church members with information andevent sign-ups.Shuttle Drivers: Our shuttle drivers provide transportation between theupper parking lot and the main building. Drivers must be able to pass adriving test, a state background check, and be between ages 25-65.Resource Center: Our resource center team serves our guests andmembers as they purchase books and resources for spiritual growth.Team members have good customer service skills and can run a cashregister.Back of House: Our back of house team assists in preparing andmaintaining the necessary supplies for the hospitality teams to besuccessful.CREATIVE ARTSWorship: Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, thisdynamic team prepares the way for our guests to encounter thepresence of the living God.6

Drama: This team of actors, technical and production support performannually for the Christmas drama and occasionally through skits duringthe year.Photography: The photography team captures the Sunday experienceor special event at Graceway. The candidate will need to use his or herown equipment, including digital camera and lens.Videography: The videography team captures the experience of Sundayand special events at Graceway. The candidate will need to use his orher own camera (DSLR are acceptable)Graceway News Host: The Graceway News Host delivers upcomingevents and opportunities as Graceway via video announcement.Candidates need to be comfortable being recorded on camera, able tomemorize lines, and deliver content in a clear and compelling way.Graphic Design: The Graphic Design dream team creates engaging,informative digital and print material to be used on social media, website,and in printed material. Candidates need to have a firm grasp of AdobeCS products, creative thinking, and modern design aesthetics.Social Media Prayer Team: The Social Media Prayer Ream connectswith and prays for our online prayer requests via Facebook or othersocial media outlets. Team members will pray over and comment onprayer requests.DREAM TEAM SERVECare Team: The care team works in the Dream Team Lounge to support,pray, and care for members of the Dream Team.Hospitality Team: The hospitality team works in the Dream TeamLounge to welcome and provide a fun and energetic atmosphere formembers of the Dream Team as they check-in and take a break as they7

serve. This team assists with food preparation and set-up and clean-upof the lounge.FINANCIAL TEAMLegacy Team: Members of this team support projects impacting our city,state, nation and world through strategic financial offerings above theirtithe. Team members will be contacted with special opportunities by theLead Pastor or Executive Pastor to partner with Graceway.FACILITIES TEAMOutside Assistant: Assist through a variety of tasks that could include:mowing, weed eating, edging, planting/maintaining shrubs/flower beds,cement work and more.Inside Assistant: Assist through a variety of tasks that could include:painting, vacuuming, deep cleaning- carpets, tile, tables and chairs, andchanging light bulbs.Office Assistant: Assist with office-oriented tasks including organizing,filing, emailing, and phone calls.FIRST RESPONSE TEAMPolice Officer: Off-duty police officers are available assist in the case ofan emergency on Sunday mornings and at various Graceway events.First Aid: An individual must be AED/CPR/First Aid certified and be ableto be on call Sunday mornings and at various Graceway events.Observe and Report Assistant: Team members monitor the campus forsuspicious behavior, assist people as needed, and work with first aid andthe police officer on duty in the case of emergency situations.8

Crossing Guard: This individual assists people with crossing across55th street at Zimmerman Park and Blue Ridge Cutoff.GROUP TEAMSmall Group Leaders: Facilitates a small group and build relationshipswith those in their group while helping members discover their nextsteps.GROWTH TRACK TEAMGrowth Track Hospitality Team: Our team serves as the hosts of theGrowth Track, providing a fun and relaxed atmosphere by greetingguests and providing materials and assistance to those discovering theirnext steps at Graceway.Growth Track Follow-up Team: This team assists people in taking theirnext steps at Graceway by following up with them through email andphone calls. Team offers flexible schedule and can be done from home.INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYIT Support: This team serves as the first point of contact for technical orcomputer malfunctions on a Sunday morning. Candidates need to beskilled at troubleshooting.Online Chat Host: The Online Chat Host team connects with andengages our online campus during our live streams. Candidates must beable to type proficiently, drive engagement via chatting, and addresspeoples concerns or needs while online.INTERNATIONAL OUTREACH TEAMInternational Student Ministry Team: This team hosts a variety ofactivities for international students to form relationships and help thembecome familiar with our culture.9
