New-generation safety onevery trip, in all conditions.Arriving safely is the priority of Fiat Ducato. In addition to new brakingsystems, the Fiat Ducato also incorporates the most sophisticatedtechnology for guaranteed control, even in the most extreme conditions.ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL (ESC)The system intervenes in emergency situations, for example in sudden swervingmanoeuvres to avoid an unexpectedobstacle. It monitors parameters such aslateral acceleration, speed, grip and angleof the steering wheel. It processes the dataand, if necessary, intervenes on the drive torque and braking system to restoreperfect stability to the motorhome. ESC is also available* on AL-KO versions.CRUISE CONTROL AND SPEED LIMITERCruise Control allows you to set thecruising speed and keep it constant. TheSpeed Limiter incorporated into thecruise control on the 150 MultiJetversions allows you to set the maximumspeed that the vehicle can reach,increasing safety. When the accelerator pedal is fully depressed, the driver canexceed the limit set for specific overtaking manoeuvres.ROLL OVER MITIGATIONNew additional assistance for the ESC insituations where the risk of rollover isgreater, which reduces rollover, in otherwords the side inclination of themotorhome with respect to the roadsurface, even on bends.TRACTION Traction is the innovative traction controlsystem that improves the motorhometraction on the most challenging surfaces.In the presence of ESC and underconditions of low or zero grip from anydrive wheel, the control unit detects slipand brakes it, transmitting the drive torque on the wheel with greater grip onthe ground. In this way, the motorhome’s performance is more comfortable,ensuring the best stability and handling.HILL HOLDERBrakes the vehicle when starting uphill,inhibiting rearward motion without usingthe handbrake. The brake is releasedautomatically (built into the ESC).HILL DESCENT CONTROLOn the steepest downhill slopes,Traction helps maintain the desiredspeed without having to brakecontinuously. So you can focus onsteering, without distractions.
