RAP Creative Course 2006IntroductionThe aim of the course is to provide you with a creative structure, whereyou can learn new skills through working with professional artists.This is a rich and varied course during which you will explore manytechniques of creating Art including, digital media, photography, soundand music, film, editing, screen printing, metal casting, illustration andmuch more.The sessions will be held at Space Studios in Hackney. Since her graduation from the RoyalCollege of Art in 2000 she has been exhibiting widely,as well as doing interesting art workshops withchildren and young people.Module outlineYou will be making body parts and masks using cardboard, plaster bandages as well as making casts ofyour body parts. Belma will than be getting you touse sculptural techniques to build upon your bodysculpture to make a sort of body armour. Your bodyarmour will also be used in later video workshopswith other artists

She has worked in a wide range of filmproduction from music videos to feature films and hasjust returned from the USA where she was teachingundergraduate Video Production.Module outlineVIDEO WORLDS takes a hands-on approach tocreating an individual “look” for digital video. Be it amusic video or short drama, having a definite style isa much sought-after skill in the industry.Over four sessions, you will create a short video, fromthe concept phase through to shooting and editing.By the end of the workshop you will have learnt thebasics of video production, editing and key designelements.
