All weights stated in our catalogs and lists areapproximate and are not guaranteed.RETURN GOODS:Standard cataloged material may be returned only with written permission of Seller.Returned goods are subject to a 25% restocking charge plus cost of reconditioning,if necessary, to make material sellable. Transportation charges are the responsibilityof the Buyer. Credit allowance will be in the form of merchandise credit only – notcash credit. The value of a return must total at least 100.00 to qualify for creditallowance. No credit will be allowed for parts unless originally ordered and invoicedas parts. No credit will be allowed for discontinued or made‐toorder items. Itemsthat have been specially made are not subject to return or cancellation exceptby special negotiation. The letter B in parentheses (B) following an item on theacknowledgement of a purchase order indicates that the item has been madeespecially for the job and is not subject to return or cancellation except by specialnegotiation. Material must be returned within one year of invoice date for credit tobe issued.Additional terms for Return Goods by product line:SPECIFICATION DRAINAGE: Galvanized material will be credited at value of dura‐coated cast iron, and chrome plated at value of bronze. No credit will be allowed onauxiliary tappings.CHEMICAL DRAINAGE: Unwrapped pipe will not normally be accepted for returndue to the possibility of ultra violet and scratch damage. Unpacked, wrapped pipein saleable condition may be returned subject to a 50% restocking charge. Fittingswill be acceptable for return without any stocking providing the fittings are completewith all seals and nuts. Any missing parts will be deducted from the return creditat list, less 40%, regardless of the original purchase price. Fusion machine will beexamined and tested upon return. The cost of any repairs will be deducted from thereturn credit. Inaddition, if no repairs are needed then a restocking charge of 10% will apply.FLUSH VALVE & AQUAPARTS: Material over two years old will be subject to a 50%handling charge. Material over five years old will not be accepted.SHORTAGE/DAMAGE CLAIMS:Notification of material shortages or incorrect filling of orders must be made to theSeller within 10 days of receipt. LEAD FREEOn January 4th, 2014, changes to the Safe Drinking Water Act went into effect which mandate that all commercial plumbing fixtures,valves, pipes, and fittings that are directly intended for human water consumption are required to be manufactured with less than .25%leaded brass content.The majority of Zurn Wilkins plumbing products fall within this category and as such have been changed to "lead-free" meaning theyare compliant. Exceptions exist for product used in non-potable applications such as fire protection and irrigation, and therefore theseproducts have not been converted. For purposes of this catalog, such products are referred to as "lead-free exempt". Finally, there areZurn Wilkins products which may fall into either category based on the final application in which they are used.
