You will receivea percentage of the originalpurchase price of the shingles— a number that graduallydecreases each month as theroof gets older. This is referredto as “prorated coverage.”You would be responsible forpaying to tear off the roof,dispose of it, and install thenew shingles.7. If I sell my home,is the warrantycoverage for myLandmark PROroof transferable?Yes, it can fully transfer once.If the transfer occurs duringthe SureStart period, thelifetime warranty is reducedto a 50-year warranty for thesubsequent owner.If you sell your home andtransfer the warranty to thenew owner after the SureStart period has expired, thewarranty period is two years forthe subsequent owner.8. Inaddition, CertainTeed alsowarrants your contractor’sworkmanship for 25 years. SureStart Plus 4-Starcoverage includes all ofthe elements of the 5-Starexcept the contractor’sworkmanship.
