Department of Engineering ServicesPlumbing and Mechanical Systems Design GuidelinesPLUMBING AND MECHANICAL SYSTEMS DESIGN GUIDELINESPREFACEIntroductionThe designer is required to incorporate the design guideline into the design documents. If a variance is requested, thedesigner should discuss this with Engineering Services. The designer is recommended to read the design guideline inentirety, underline text which the designer has questions or wishes a variance, and then review the underlined sectionswith the mechanical reviewer.EditingUnderlining within the body indicates an edit to the former 2012 Plumbing and Mechanical Design Guideline.TABLE OF CONTENTSGENERAL REQUIREMENTS . 3A.
