December 20, 2020St. Anthony of Padua Church,Christmas Eve & Christmas Mass ScheduleChristmas Eve, 4pm. Mass at St. Anthony. We are asking our regular parishioners to PLEASE not come to this Mass. ThisMass appears to have the most ‘casual guests’ who are not normally with us through the rest of the year and will not be awareof our new schedule. We want to be able to welcome and accommodate these guests as best we can at this hour. There willbe no special children’s program at this Mass, as has been our tradition in the past. When the Church (and parish hall basement) is full, we will likely have to turn people away or redirect them to an alternate Mass, perhaps at St. Dominic’s or anotherchurch in town.Christmas Eve 6:00 p.m. Reservations are closed.Christmas Eve 7:00 p.m. (This is a new Mass added to be held at St. Dominic School) Reservations are needed and sign upsheet is in the vestibule of the church.Christmas Eve 8:00 p.m. Reservations are closed.Midnight Mass Reservations are closed.Christmas Day 9:00 a.m Reservations are needed and sign up sheet is in the vestibule of the church.Christmas Cards for Nursing Home ResidentsPlease remember the members of our parish who are in a nursing home thisChristmas by giving them a Christmas card (or it can be a letter or a note). It ismore important this year than ever before due to COVID-19, as most residents areunable to see family members during this difficult time. Receiving a card duringthese times is one way to bring some joy to them. They also enjoy home-madecards/letters/photos from the school children. It means so much to them to knowthat our parish family is thinking of them.Boxes will be in middle entrance of Church for each nursing home starting theweekend of November 28th/November 29th thru the weekend of December19th/20th. Please drop the cards/letters in the boxes and mark on each envelope the name of the resident. If you are not able to bring your cards to Church toput in the drop boxes, please mail your cards directly to the residents.COLLECTING SOCKS & UNDERWEARFrom now until Christmas, our parish will once again be collecting new socks andunderwear for the needy. Red totes will be located in the Church vestibule for drop-off. All sizes are needed for men, women, boys and girls. All donations will staylocal and support our parish, school and Ladies of Charity. Thank you holy peoplefor your generosity! Please call Dennis Holbrook with any questions, 257-4384.THANK YOU, THANK YOU!Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to make the Pancake and Sausagebreakfast a success. The total profit was over 11,300.003
