Using This GuideThis guide is provided to enhance your understanding of Acumatica licensing for Private Cloud Perpetual(PCP), Private Cloud Subscription (PCS), and Acumatica’s Software as a Service (SaaS) subscription. Anyexamples presented in this guide are for illustrative purposes only. Acumatica, Inc. reserves the right toupdate the existing version of this document without advanced notice.Any reference to system or software is a reference to Acumatica ERP software or SaaS subscription, unlessstated otherwise. This guide covers the various aspects of Acumatica licensing, and it is important to readthe document in its entirety to understand the various aspects of your license. Licensing and SaaS SubscriptionKeys and EntitlementsAcumatica license keys (activation keys), are used to activate Acumatica products. License entitlements arewhat you are entitled to use based on the licenses you have acquired.OverviewAcumatica’s licensing and SaaS subscriptions are designed to help small and midsize businesses save moneyby having to acquire only the licensing and services needed for their business areas. As the company growsor its needs change, added licenses can be acquired as needed. This makes the power and benefits of anAcumatica solution more affordable for all businesses.When an organization is selecting Acumatica, there are two components to consider: the product editionsand modules that provide specific product functionality, and the licensing and subscription method. Theremay be additional system and module constraints that are related but not directly tied to licensing that willbe covered in this guide.Product EditionsAcumatica Cloud ERP functionality is delivered as editions that contain a collection of modules that are suitedfor specific industries and company sizes; additional modules can be selected to fit your specific needs. Hereis an overview of the company size groupings, industries, and module availability that make up the variouseditions.Company SizeSmall BusinessAll small business editions are designed to meet the needs of smaller companies and include 5 named usersand support for one tenant. Small business editions can optionally be upgraded to 10 named users. Theincluded modules vary based on the industry edition selected. See below for more information on includedand optional modules.SaaS Small business editions subscriptions started after June 30, 2020 areautomatically enrolled in Acumatica’s Always Current program. For more information on the Always Currentprogram, contact your Acumatica partner.AdvancedAll Advanced editions are for most mid-market companies (10-250 employees) that require advancedfinancial capabilities and more robust ERP functionality; and include 5 tenants. Included modules vary basedon the industry edition selected. See below for more information on included and optional modules.EnterpriseAll Enterprise editions are for larger companies (250 employees) that require advanced financial and ERPfunctionality and capabilities; and include 20 tenants.
