The commonthreads are the focus on developing practical skills for helping people,understanding the nature of human growth and change, andpersonal reflection and growth in professional identity. The coursesemphasize that God is the ultimate source of all truth and that hereveals his divine purpose in scripture. Students are taught tounderstand scriptural truth through sound exegesis and to seekadditional truth through scientific investigation, thoughtfulobservation, and scholarly research.
