HE L LO PAR E NTS A N D YO UTHOur 5th annual Surf-&-Serve camp/mission is coming up on July 24th - July 28nd, for all incoming 7th - graduated 12thgraders. Surf-&-Serve is not a typical summer camp, it’s a combination summer camp and mission trip in one. This campwill give students the opportunity to not only hear the Word and have fun, but to live out the faith in service as well! Threechurches are parterning together for this camp; Calvary Santee, Hosanna City Church and Calvary Chapel Big Bear.What we’ll do: This trip will be divided with half the time deadicated to serivce, work projects and visitingorphanages and the other half will with summer camp programs like teaching sessions, group discussions, and of coursefun activities, games and the beach.The theme: This year’s theme is “As in Heaven” or in Spanish “Como en el Cielo” from Matthew 6:10,“Yourkingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven,” Looking at God’s kingdom in us here on earth.Where we’ll be: We’ll be staying at the Calvary Chapel Bible College in Ensenada. It’s a beautiful 25 acrefacility in a secluded canyon just north of Ensenada. It has large dorm rooms, a dinning hall, sanctuary, and sports field allwithin a secured property. It’s a very safe area and many of leaders have years of experience bringing teams of youth andadults to this area. You can see the facility at: ccbcmexico.comWhat you need to know & do:PERMISSION SLIPS: Return slips (3 pages total; permission slips rules) to bookstore by Sunday July 7th. Spots arelimited and your spot is not guaranteed until all your slips and money are turned in. PAYMENT: Cost, 160. Includes transportation, a t-shirt and all meals (except one “taco night,” bring 5- 10). Moneydue by Sunday July 7th. Scholarships are available, ask for applications. PASSPORT: Passports are not required to cross the border for anyone under 18, as long as you have an original copy ofyour birth certificate and a photo id (School id works).
