Back to Table of ContentsSection 1INTERIM / EMERGENCY FELONY BAIL SCHEDULEPursuant to the statewide Emergency Bail Schedule effective April 13, 2020 and Penal CodeSection 1269b(c), the following bail schedule has been adopted by the Superior Court ofCalifornia, County of Sacramento and is to be utilized in setting bail for the release of accusedand/or arrested persons in pretrial custody, arrested on charges, without warrant, for the allegedcommission of any bailable offense, and for Writs of Habeas Corpus. For any felony offense for which no presumptive bail is set forth, bail is fixed at 0 When a person is booked on multiple felony charges, the presumptive bail amount shallbe the largest amount specified in the schedule for any one of the felony charges, plusapplicable enhancements (i.e. no “stacking” unless deemed appropriate in the court’sdiscretion). When a person is booked on multiple felony charges, two or more of which constitute a“violent felony” (Penal Code Section 667.5(c)) or a “serious felony” (Penal Code Section1192.7(c)), the presumptive amount shall be the aggregate of each such charge, unlesspunishment for a particular charge would be barred by PC 654 (i.e. “stacking” permitted).
