Investment HighlightsResource Base Limited (ASX: RBX) is a mineral exploration company focused on the developmentof highly prospective exploration projects with demonstrated potential for scalable discoveriesEstablished RegionRecognised VHMSUntested TargetsExploration ProgramBlack Range Project is located inthe well-known and highlyprospectiveStavelyVolcanicscorridor in north-west Victoria.Project is host to a recognisedcopper-goldvolcanic-hostedmassive sulphide (VHMS) systemknown as the Eclipse Prospect.Where a supergene blanket ofenrichedcopper(chalcocite)mineralisation is developed abovewidespread copper, gold and zincmineralisation.Opportunity to test the potential ofa 4km strike of a defined volcanicgraben at Eclipse.Aggressive exploration program atthe Eclipse Prospect, focused onquickly establishing an initialinferred JORC compliant resourcefrom existing geological datawithin 6 months of listing andestablishing the potential size andscale of the entire Project area.Multiple, untested base metal andgold targets over approximately100kmofStavelyArc volcanics.9

Interpreted Volcanic BasinThe volcaniclastic / volcanic sequence has alteration trends and a geochemical compositionthat is confirmatory of the settings that would host a VMS systemMassive sulphide mineralisation and clastic sulphides have been intercepted in drill corewithin the sequence stratigraphy, and within specific settings that could allow for thedevelopment of the “Holy Host” of the VMS systemThe alteration of the sequence stratigraphy is dominated by Chlorite and Sericitedevelopment, with the broad scale of the alteration typical of footwall alteration and isvery typical of sub-seafloor replacement type VMS deposits such as Rosebery and Herculesin western Tasmania (of which the Stavely Volcanics is identical in timing of formation tothese related deposits)Researchers have shown that the lithological and geochemical anomalism noted indicates thepotential to be near to potential economic mineralizationGeophysical features noted by the aeromagnetics places a regional “graben” like feature thatincorporates the Eclipse occurrence to the south and New Moon occurrence to the north13

Eclipse ProspectRecent diamond drilling at the EclipseProspect targeted under the knownsupergene chalcocite mineralisationand supported geophysical data to tryand identify the primary sulphidesource of the copper mineralisationDrilling identified VHMS stylepolymetallic mineralisationconcentrated on three stratigraphichorizons, Horizons A, B and CMassive sulphide clastswere observed in epiclastic unitsat various locations in drillholeED003 which suggests massivesulphide mineralisation is morewidespread than primary examplesintersected in the vicinity of drilling14

Additional TargetsAreas to the north and south of theEclipse (8) and New Moon (9) basin willbe explored to locate primary sourceTargets apart from Eclipse defined byBuckingham and Core (2010):Green Mt Lyell styleRed Hellyer–Rosebery style.15
