Northern California Nursing Academy, Vocational Nursing Program – RequestApproved.The Program requested the Board grant initial approval of the vocational nursingprogram for the four-year period beginning February 23, 2021 and issue a certificateaccordingly.Additionally, the Program requested approval to begin their program with an initialfull-time class of 18 students on April 5, 2021. The projected graduation date is May29, 2022.Additionally, the Program requested approval of their 54-week curriculum consists of682 theory hours and 954 clinical hours totaling 1636 program hours. Summit Career College, El Cajon, Vocational Nursing Program – RequestApproved.The Program requested approval to admit a full-time day class of 30 students tocommence on March 22, 2021, with a graduation date of March 18, 2022. Career Care Institute, Moreno Valley, Vocational Nursing Program – RequestApproved.The Program requested approval to begin a full-time day class of 30 studentscommencing on April 5, 2021, graduating on August 21, 2022 to replace the classthat graduated on January 17, 2021. Concorde Career College, San Bernardino, Vocational Nursing Program –Request Approved.The Program requested the Board grant continued full approval for a four-year periodbeginning February 1, 2021 and issue a certificate accordingly. Southeast California College, Vocational Nursing Program – Request Approved.The Program requested approval of their curriculum revision to include 1555 totalprogram hours, including 599 theory hours and 956 clinical hours. Carrington College, San Jose, Vocational Nursing Program – RequestApproved.The Program requested approval to admit a full-time class of 30 studentscommencing on April 26, 2021, graduating on April 6, 2022 to replace the classthat graduates on April 24, 2021. Moriah Medical College, Vocational Nursing Program – Requests Approved.The Program requested the Board grant initial approval of the vocational nursingprogram for a four-year period beginning April 6, 2021 and issue a certificateaccordingly.Additionally, the Program requested to begin their program with an initial full-timeclass of 30 students on April 19, 2021, only, and graduating July 3, 2022.Additionally, the Program requested approval of their 60-week curriculum, four 15week terms of 1554 hours, including 600 theory hours and 954 clinical hours. Unitek College, Bakersfield, Vocational Nursing Program – Requests Approved.The Program requested to admit a class of 36 full-time day students to start onMay 10, 2021 with an expected graduation date of April 29, 2022.Additionally, the Program requested request to admit a class of 36 part-timeevening students to start on June 29, 2021 with an expected graduation date ofJanuary 14, 2023. Unitek College, Fremont, Vocational Nursing Program – Requests Approved.The Program requested to admit a class of 36 students to a full-time day class tostart on June 1, 2021 and graduate on May 6, 2022.Also, the Program requested to admit a class of 36 students to a full-time day classto start on July 12, 2021 and graduate on June 24, 2022.Additionally, the Program requested an ongoing pattern of admissions to include:o Seven 46-week full time day classes of 36 students per year,o One 62-week full-time evening class per year, ando Two 75-week part-time evening/weekend classes of 36 students to replacegraduating students only.o Not to exceed 10 enrolled classes of students at one time.Effective April 20, 2021: California Career Institute, Vocational Nursing Program – Request Approved.The Program requested to admit a part-time evening class of 30 studentscommencing on May 10, 2021, with the projected graduation date of January 15,2023 to replace the class that graduated on March 7, 2021.
