IT Schedule 70 Plain Language RoadmapObjective:Develop a clear and concise way that explains the Schedule 70 offerprocess for new vendors in discrete and simple terms.Implementation:We talked with vendors about their experiences with the IT Schedule 70process, what they had the most trouble with, and what informationneeded to be clarified. We also talked with contracting officers to seewhere they saw the most mistakes being made as they reviewed theoffers submitted by vendors.In the end, we took all of the information we gathered and developed astep by step guide to what people need to know when submitting anoffer for an IT Schedule 70 contract.Next Steps: Check it out!

Contracts established by one agency forGovernmentwide use Operated by an Executive Agency designated by theOMB - Only three agencies are designated: NASA, NIHand GSA Pursuant to Section 5112(e) of the Clinger-Cohen Act Not subject to the Economy Act

It allows for a total solution forlarge complex IT requirements, includingthose aspects of the IT solution that aren’t ITin and of themselves, but are integral andnecessary to the solution – those ancillaryproducts and services needed.19Ordering period of performance: April 2009 toApril 2014, with one five-year option from April 2014to April 30, 2019* (Basic Contract expiration date).*Task Order performance can be performed up toApril 30, 2024, which is past the Basic Contractexpiration date, only when (1) orders are issuedbefore April 30, 2019; and (2) options are includedat initial issuance of the Order.
