INTRODUCTIONDo you realize God will never leave you orabandon you? This is what the Bible promises usand we can stand on the promises of God today.Hebrews 13:5“Let your conversation be withoutcovetousness; and be content with suchthings as you have: for he hath said, Iwill never leave thee, nor forsake thee.It is a true fact that Jesus is with me and standsbeside me every minute of every day or night.People may leave me and forsake me, but He willnever. He is in my life. He is always with meeverywhere I go. He is with me when I am drivingdown the road, in a plane, walking and evensleeping. I know my Jesus. My God, is alwayswith me. I don’t care what I am facing in life. Heis always with me.Do you know you are related to Him? He isalways with you. He will never leave you orforsake you.In this book, I will show you God’s lovetowards you, your relationship to Him as a lovingFather and His expressing of love towards you byshowering you with His blessings. I will show youthe true meaning of God’s love by the use of therobe He has given to you, The meaning of the ringHe has placed on your hand and the shoes thatkeep you walking in the peace of God.4and our position, so the devil will see Him insteadof us. When we try to do things in the flesh, thedevil can beat us up and win. However, when wewear the robe, ring and shoes of God, the devil isdefeated.Your feet are shod with the shoes of thepreparation of the gospel of peace. You havepeace on your feet. The Bible tells us our feet arebeautiful that carry the gospel.Romans 10:15“And how shall they preach, except theybe sent? As it is written, How beautifulare the feet of them that preach thegospel of peace, and bring glad tidings ofgood things!The gospel of peace is what you are wearing onyour feet. They are your shoes. God has put peaceon you. There is peace all over and in you. Thepeace God has given to you is not the peace of thisworld. It is the peace of heaven. It is the peace inyour heart and should affect your mind.The robe, the ring and the shoes are all hookedtogether. You cannot have one in operationwithout the other.You cannot walk inrighteousness and not have peace. You cannotwalk in peace, without being righteous. Youcannot use your authority, without using peace.You cannot use your authority, without the shieldover your face, which is the robe of righteousness.Remember, after the youngest son was clothedin his robe, his new ring and shoes, there was a49

There is hope by showing them whothey are in Christ Jesus.Luke 15:22“But the father said to his servants,Bring forth the best robe, and put it onhim; and put a ring on his hand, andshoes on his feet.”Why did the father put shoes on his son’s feetafter he returned home? This is a very goodquestion. The shoes are very important. Shoes arethe position we stand in when we have and walkin peace. In Ephesians, the Bible tells us to put onshoes of peace.Ephesians 6:14 and 1514 “Stand therefore, having your lionsgirt about with truth, and having onthe breastplate of righteousness.”15 “And your feet shod with thepreparation of the gospel of peace.”Your coat or robe is a covering in front. It is aroyal robe. It is breastplate of righteousness. Idon’t know if you have ever seen any pictures ofthe old robes before Jesus’ time. Those robes werevery expensive. They had jewels on them. Whenyou are walking in the robe God has given you,the devil doesn’t know what to do when you takeyour stand in righteousness and use your authority.The only reflection the devil sees is Jesus, not you.It is time for us to get more associated with Jesus48Chapter 1GOD’S MESSAGETO YOUThe “Robe,” the “Ring” and the “Shoes” arethree simple words I have been reading about inthe Bible and meditating on a lot lately. Whilepreparing for a sermon to preach at a local church,God spoke to me. I was just minding my ownbusiness, like I usually do when I am preparing topreach, when God said something to me. I hopeyou understand, when God or the Holy Ghost sayssomething, it becomes my business to payattention. I take special notice. If He tells me tospeak something, I say it. If He tells me to dosomething, I do it. If He tells me something tohold in my heart and stay quite, I am quite and donot say a word. I do whatever the He wants me todo or say.When God spoke to me He said, “I want you topreach on the Robe, the Ring and the Shoesbecause My people don’t have a concept of certainthings in their lives. They perceive things wrongbecause of the life style of their past.” Hecontinued to explain to me that many people havecome from dysfunctional homes and later in lifebecame Christians. Some people may have beenabused in different areas in their lives. Now theydo not know how to receive love. They do notknow or receive the love of God. They cannotreceive the love from another person or5
aanythingnelse. All they know how to do is to reactyt h opposite or contrary to what love has to offerthethem. They do not understand love always gives.Chapter 11THE SHOESThe father put a pair of shoes on the youngestson when he came home. Do you know why hedid that?The best way I know to explain the meaning isto tell you practical things about my personal life.I cannot tell you things about your life because Idon’t know anything about your life.Do you know until I was filled with the HolyGhost, I didn’t have a day of peace? I was bornagain at seven years old, but I never had peace ofGod. I didn’t have any knowledge about the peaceof God and how to walk in it. My mind wouldturn around in circles all the time. If I was a childtoday, they would have me drugged to the point Icould not think straight. I did not realize myproblems were caused by the condition of life Ilived in as a child. The way I grew up caused mymind to behave the way it did. The biggestpercentage of children today who need medicationis a result of the lifestyle they are being raised in.If they were removed from their present lifestyle,most of them would become normal. Manychildren are being raised in abusive homes. Theabused could either be emotional and/or physicalabuse. Many times the emotional abuse cannot beseen. It only becomes manifested in later life as aperson lives a messed up life. This is something tokeep in your mind, when you see a child on647
would beat me up. He would tell me I had failedto do a good job.Thank God I don’t get beat up any more by thedevil. I learned to walk in my righteousness. Youare righteous too. You have authority. You needto walk in it everyday.Chapter 2THE PRODIGAL SONThere was a certain man who had two sons.The youngest son came to his father and said,“Can I have the portion of my inheritance now?”The father loved both of his sons, so he distributedand divided the inheritance to each of them. Theolder son took his inheritance, but stayed at home.The younger son took his inheritance and went offthe see the world.Luke 15:11, 12 and 1311 “And he said, A certain man had twosons.”12 “And the younger of them said to hisfather, Father, give me the portion ofgoods that falleth to me. And hedivided unto them his living.”13 “And not many days after theyounger son gathered all together,and took his journey into a farcountry, and there wasted hissubstance with riotous living.”The younger son thought he had all the answerslike many people do today. Many Christians havethought they knew all the answers in the past.They think they have all the insight and knowledgeof the things in life, so they can make it on theirown. They don’t think they really need the467
Heavenly Father’s ideas or attention. In theirhearts they say, “I really don’t need the help fromthe Holy Ghost in this matter because I know howto handle it. I know how to make it through lifebecause I have made it through all the things in lifein the past on my own.”The younger son felt like he could handle lifeon his own, so he decided to go into the world.After a while, he spent all of his inheritance onprostitutes, alcohol and all kinds of other things. Idon’t know if they had drugs back then, but theyprobably did. He became very worldly and spenteverything he had.Then a famine came in the land. It was a greatfamine throughout the entire country.Theyounger son was totally broke and did not evenhave money to buy any food. He didn’t knowwhat to do. He became desperate and hungry.Luke 15:14“And when he had spent all, there arosea mighty famine in that land; and hebegan to be in want.”So he made an agreement with a citizen withinthe foreign land where he was now living. Heagreed to feed the swine and pigs.Luke 15:15“And he went and joined himself to acitizen of that country; and he sent himinto his fields to feed swine.”8“no” for an answer.I didn’t know I was righteous. I didn’t know Ihad authority of Jesus. I didn’t understand He hadgiven me a robe of righteousness. I didn’tunderstand He had given me a ring of authority.All I knew was to “Go ye.” The words startedechoing in my spirit. Sometimes I would ask,“Where am I going to go?” The replies would be,“Anywhere to preach the gospel.” I startedministering to people, even though I could not readat the time.I knew the Bible said to lay hands on the sick. Idid not know that it said the sick would “recover.”It was three years into my ministry before I leanedthe Bible said the sick would recover. Whenpeople did not get well instantly, it stomped myfaith a little bit. Soon I learned to correct mydoctrine. I wanted everybody healed instantly.I used to lay hands on people, then preach tothem. Later I would go home and get undercondemnation because I did not see their healingmanifested. I would ask myself over and over,“Why?”I didn’t have knowledge of beingrighteous. I didn’t have any knowledge of beingor walking in the position of authority. The devilwould beat me up all the time. He would tell me Ihad failed God and mankind. The next morning Iwould get up with a smile on my face. I wouldsay, “How many people can I tell about Jesus?” Iwould witness for Jesus on the job, off the job andeverywhere I would go. I would not stop until Igot at least one person saved. Later, when I wenthome, the devil would come into my thoughts. He45
preach the gospel, lead people to Jesus and layhands on the sick. The first year I lead 300 peopleto Jesus. Every day I fought with condemnationwhen I would come home from preaching theWord. I felt lead in my heart to minister each dayuntil I could get at least one person saved. I said,“One person must be saved today before I can goto bed. It doesn’t matter how long it takes.” If oneperson didn’t get saved by evening time, I wentout to eat until midnight and ministered to peoplein the restaurants. Someone was going to getsaved that day. I was determined. I was not goingto let any person go to hell without hearing theWord of God. I preached to everybody I couldfind. I preached to everybody and got some bodysaved each day my first year in the ministry.Sometimes I would lead five people to the Lord ino
