He is the recipient of numerous degrees, including a doctoratefrom Columbia University, and is an ASCAP award-winning composer. Dr. Feldsteinhas distinguished himself as a leader in percussion education. As past president ofthe Percussive Arts Society, he was cited for his contribution to the world ofpercussion. He is a frequent guest lecturer and clinician at universities and musicconventions throughout the USA. Dr. Feldstein’s music and books are used bythousands of young people worldwide.Dave Black received his Bachelor of Music degree in percussion performancefrom California State University, Northridge.
