HYBRIS, A NEW GENERATION OF INSULATIONHYBRIS is an innovative insulationmaterial for timber frame or masonrywalls, pitched roofs, ceiling andsuspended timber floor applications.Applications in roofs,walls, ceilings andsuspended floorsAN INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGYLIGHT, FLEXIBLE & DURABLE INSULATIONHYBRIS is a reflective insulation productbased on a unique honeycomb structuremade of shaped polyethylene foams glued toaluminium coated polyethylene foils. Its highthermal performance is provided by a specialstructure composed of a large number of lowemissivity cavities, protected from dust andexcessive air movement. Moreover, the lowemissivity external films provide additionalthermal resistance, when associated withair cavities.HYBRIS is easily installed between rafters,timber studs or within floor joists. It accuratelyfits all widths, held in place by friction-fit.Hybris is also durable and doesn’t slumpdown over time.HYBRIS is lightweight, less than 9.5kg/m3,thus easy to store and transport.Reflective vapourcontrol layerReflective foilsHYBRIS is available in panels of 1145mm x1200mm and in a range of thicknesses from50mm to 205mm.Polyethylene foamsCRADLE TO CRADLE CERTIFICATIONHybris is the only reflectiveinsulation in Europe to achieveBronze Cradle to Cradlecertification for its sustainabilitycredentials. A HIGH THERMAL PERFORMANCE INSULATIONHYBRIS significantly reduces building energy consumption whileproviding maximum comfort. With a core declared thermal conductivity(λD) as low as 0.033 W/mK, HYBRIS provides a thermal resistance ashigh as 6.20 m2K/W for 205mm.Easily recognisable HYBRIS has a copper-coloured internal face witha very low emmissivity of 0.06 (external face e 0.10).
