What is StreetPrint ?StreetPrint is a patented proprietary technology and application process that produces realistic brick, slate, stone and otherdesign effects on an asphalt base. StreetPrint combines the flexibility and strength of asphalt with leading-edge coatingtechnologies. This results in a cost-effective, durable surface with low maintenance requirements. From unique heatingequipment to specialized coatings, our components are designed to work together to provide a superior surfacing solution.StreetPrint gives unlimited creative freedom for hardscape and streetscape projects and empowers architects and designersto accomplish more with less. The cost advantages over alternatives like brick or stone can be significant.Scottsdale, AZTaranto, Italy

Installation ProcessStreetPrint can be installed on existing asphalt that is in goodcondition, which can provide significant savings on pavementremoval costs. The asphalt base provides superior stability anddurability compared to traditional surfaces such as brick pavers.StreetPrint application is faster, easier and less labor intensiveto install than other decorative paving surfaces.StreetPrint is installed by Licensed StreetPrint Applicators —owners and employees of professional paving and constructioncompanies who are trained and certified by IPC for this specifictechnology.1StreetPrint Installation Steps1. The asphalt is heated with the StreetHeat SR60reciprocating pavement heater.2. StreetPrint woven steel templates are pressed into thewarm asphalt using a plate compactor and then removed.3. High performance StreetBond coatings are appliedusing the StreetPrint Rapid Sprayer.23

StreetPrint Key BenefitsDecorative AppealMaintenance SavingsA wide range of patterns and colors can be combinedto create unique and eye-catching designs. The StreetPrint surface has low maintenance requirementsand lower maintenance costs than other decorative surfaces.Lower Initial CostSeamless RepairsEfficient installation methods save labor costs.Reheating technology and coating systems enable easyrepairs to “good as new” condition.DurabilityThe structurally sound asphalt base is without joints orseams, which prevents shifting, weed growth and damagefrom snowplows and sweepers. StreetPrint lasts longer.Extended Asphalt LifeStreetPrint coating systems prevent oxidation and fortifythe asphalt base which results in a better looking, longerlasting surface.Hartford, CTUniversity of San Diego, CASan Rafael, CA

Design FlexibilityNot only do StreetPrint coatings provide limitless colorpossibilities they also fortify the asphalt surface. StreetPrintcoatings are based on unique, epoxy-modified acrylic polymertechnology. Acrylics provide UV stability and minimal colorfade, while the water base ensures maximum environmentalfriendliness. These coatings are specified to meet local weatherand traffic conditions producing a durable surface that retainsits vibrant color. Please call 1 800 688 5652 for a copy of our color card. These color swatches are digitally produced and may not appear exactly as StreetPrint color coatings.

Project ProfilesWalkways for the City of Carteret, NJCampus at the U of NC, Greensboro, NCThis 24,000 square foot installation of walkways is part ofan urban renewal project that was once a dumping groundfor city waste. The University of North Carolina wanted to revitalize the imageof the streets within their Greensboro campus. They choseStreetPrint to enhance the overall architecture of the Universitywhile at the same time capitalizing on the low cost of StreetPrintas a decorative pavement. The project, located at the Arthur Hill waterway which leadsinto the Atlantic Ocean, also includes a park and docks forfishing and launching boats. The Applicator spent a little overfour weeks completing this substantial installation. The mayor of Carteret was so impressed with StreetPrintthat he budgeted to install another 25,000 square feet thefollowing summer. The project was 22,000 square feet consisting of 9 intersectionsand 3 crosswalks. Diagonal Herringbone and Stacked Brickborder patterns were used. With StreetPrint the University was able to create the visualappeal and impact they were looking for at a fraction of thecost of pavers.

Streetscapes in Scottsdale, AZWaterfront Revitalization, Toledo, OHThis is phase one of a streetscape project conceived by theCity of Scottsdale in 2003.This casual river walk area has come a long way from its humblebeginnings. It is no longer a lost and forgotten piece of land indowntown Toledo but a unique and beautiful pedestrian footpath, reminiscent of the cobblestone paths of yesterday.130,000 square feet of StreetPrint was installed to createlevel medians, banded traffic circles and other streetscapes. The Applicator’s excellent relationship with the City and theproven quality of their previous installations made it aneasy decision for municipal officials to use StreetPrint in aproject of this magnitude.Budget constraints made choosing hand-laid pavers impossiblefor the 40,000 square feet along the Maumee River. By usingStreetPrint the project team was able to replicate the look ofbrick and cobblestone and completed the project within budget.

Why Use Genuine StreetPrint?StreetBond CoatingsStreetBond coatings are based on unique, epoxy modified acrylicpolymer technology. Acrylics provide UV stability and minimalcolor fade. These coatings are designed to withstand a variety ofweather and traffic conditions producing a durable surface thatretains its vibrant color.linked epoxy modified acrylic polymers that give them a precisebalance of hardness and flexibility even under wet conditions. Ifa coating is too flexible, it will wear too quickly. Through manyyears of research and development, StreetBond has formulateda coating that has exceptional durability.Environmentally FriendlyFlexibleUnlike other solvent-based pavement markings, StreetBondcoatings are water-based. This means they contain no harshchemical solvents to harm the environment or people. Asphaltcoated with StreetBond is fully recyclable. If a pavement coating is too hard, however, it will not allow forthe normal expansion and contraction of asphalt surfaces andwill end up cracking. StreetBond coatings are flexible enough toconform to the plasticity of asphalt preventing any cracks.DurableAdhesionMost water based coatings are susceptible to acceleratedwear under wet conditions. StreetBond coatings contain crossStreetBond coatings have excellent adhesion properties andare particularly resistant to peeling.StreetBond Coatings Perform BestProven PerformanceOver 50 million square feet installed inmore than 40 countries around the world.adhesionflexibilitydurabilityother coatingsother coatingsother coatingslack of adhesion peelinglack of flexibility crackinglack of durability wear
