Hereare a few highlights.Last year Past-PresidentCliff Ramirez developedan exciting new concept,the Emerging Profession als Institute. Held for thefirst time last Octoher,the intent ofthe EPI wasto provide younger, midlevel administrators withtools and insights for fur thering their careers.While the conference wasextraordinarily well re ceived among those inattendance, timing andcost metors proved to heproblematic. Under theleadership of Vice Presi dent for Professional De velopment Faith Wcese,and with the assistance ofPresident-Elect DannetteSullivan, a new model forEPI has been developedthat will deliver the sameexcellent program at lessthan half the cost of theoriginal. Below is a description ofsome oftheguidelinesfor determining whether you qualifY for the Worker Retraining Funds.
