These guidelines contain assistance procedures that will usuallyanswer questions or concerns with the sale of your new vehicle. However, SCAPERFORMANCE has the same assistance responsibility as the originalmanufacturer. We make every effort to build a conversion of the highest quality.If your concerns have not been resolved follow the following steps:No. 1Explain your concerns to the Service Manager. Normally, it will beresolved at this level of management. CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTYSCA PERFORMANCE CUSTOM VEHICLELIMITED WARRANTYWHAT IS COVEREDWARRANTY APPLIESThis warranty applies only to this vehicle registered in the United States.REPAIRS COVEREDAuthorization must be obtained.SCA Performance, at our discretion, may elect to perform repairs at our factorylocated at: 7769 Gadsden Highway, Trussville, AL 35173.This warranty covers repairs to correct any conversion defect related tomaterials and workmanship that occur during the specific warranty period thatapplies. Needed repairs will be performed using only new or repaired parts,supplied by and at discretion of SCA Performance.WARRANTY PERIODThe warranty for all coverage begins on the date purchased, as entered on theWarranty Registration Form at first delivery, and ends at the expiration of thecoverage period.COMPONENT PARTSElectronic personal conveniences may have been added as part of theconversion, such as radio, TV, games, auxiliary lighting, etc. but not limited tothese. The warranty coverage period is 3 years \ 36,000 miles.NOTE: Please refer to the Factory Operating Instructions for each of theseadded conveniences for full fan and enjoyment. These operating instructions arelocated in the SCA Performance delivery packet.Page 10

CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTYWHEELSNormally, your Wheel Warranty will be covered by the original manufacturer.However, some models require specifically manufactured wheels to enhance thebeauty and/or functionality of your custom vehicle. When these special wheelsare added to the conversion, your 3/36 Bumper-to-Bumper coverage will apply,and the following damages listed below and under WHAT IS NOT COVEREDalso apply. ! Damage due to accident, misuse, or alteration. ! Damage or corrosion due to environment, chemical treatment, or aftermarket products. (See Custom Component Maintenance Schedule, p. 4) ! Damage caused by lack of maintenance as recommended by themanufacturer. (See Custom Component Maintenance Schedule, p. 3)NOTE: SCA Performance recommends you rotate and balance wheels andtires every 6,000 miles.CUSTOM PAINTINGTo enhance the conversion’s exterior, custom painting may have been addedand is covered by the 3 yr. / 36,000 mi. warranty in the event of a defect in thecustom paint. SCA Performance will require up to 30 days for repairs andreserves the right to select the place of repair to include our facility at 7769Gadsden Highway, Trussville, AL 35173.ENGINE COMPONENTS/TUNINGAftermarket engine components and/or SCA Performance proprietary tuningmay have been installed on your custom vehicle. The warranty for these itemsis 3 yr. / 36,000 mi. for construction/workmanship and/or product defect.NOTE: If vehicle is driven after SCA Performance certified tune has beenmodified or removed, this action voids warranty.SUSPENSION LIFT/LOWERA suspension lift/lowering system may have been added to your custom vehicle.The warranty for this product is 3 yr. / 36,000 mi. for construction/workmanshipand/or product defect. CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTYSUSPENSION LIFT/LOWER FACTS! The GM 1500 trucks no longer have torsion bars.The GM 1500 truck’s new front strut suspension is not adjustable.35” tires or 325/65/20 are the maximum recommended tire size for 6”lifted trucks.Ball joints need to be lubricated every oil change.Ball joints, tie rods and idler arm should be checked every 25005000 miles for wear. Replace as needed.Vehicle tires need to be rotated every 6,000 miles.Vehicle should be aligned every 15,000 miles or as needed. Align tofactory specifications.The track width of the truck cannot be changed. The extra widthyou get with the lift adds stability.The load capacity of the vehicle is not altered by the lift kit.Factory suspension and steering geometry are maintained with theaddition of an aftermarket suspension lift/lowering system, and systemshould not cause excessive factory parts wear.3 YEAR / 36,000 MILE WARRANTYThe warranty covers repairs to correct any conversion defect related toconstruction and workmanship that occur during the SCA 3 yr. / 36,000 milewarranty. All off road activities ! Collision, fire, theft, freezing, explosion, riot, vandalism or objectsstriking the vehicle, scratches, or road hazard. ! Misuse of the vehicle, reckless driving, over curbs overloading, racingor other competition. ! Alteration or modification to the conversion or components after finalassembly.NOTE: 1. Coverage does not apply if the odometer has been disconnected ormileage has been altered.2. This warranty is void on the conversion if the vehicle is previouslytitled as salvaged, scrapped, junked, or totaled.DAMAGE OR CORROSION DUE TOENVIROMENT, CHEMICAL TREATMENTSOR AFTER-MARKET PRODUCTSDamage caused by airborne fallout (acid rain, chemicals, tree sap, etc.)Stones, Acts of God, hail, earthquake, flood, windstorm, lightning.Damage due to the application of chemicals or sealants ARE NOT COVERED.See your vehicle factory warranty for details on chemical paint spotting.DAMAGE CAUSED BY LACK OFMAINTENANCEDamage caused by lack of MAINTENANCE is the conversion owner’sresponsibility and IS NOT COVERED. It is necessary to perform periodicMAINTENANCE on your conversion, such as is recommended by the owner’smanuals of electronic equipment, cleaning and polishing recommendations bycustom wheel manufacturer, etc. We recommend you keep record and receiptsshould questions arise about MAINTENANCE.Page 13

CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTYMAINTENANCEConversion parts, such as items requiring replacement or repair from routinewear, use, and exposure are not covered.EXTRA EXPENSESEconomic loss or extra expense, contingent liability is not covered.Examples include: ! Loss of vehicle use ! Inconvenience ! Loss of revenue ! Storage ! Telephone expense ! Payment of loss time or pay ! Vehicle rental expense ! CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTY!WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT YOURCUSTOM VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTYCHEMICAL PAINT SPOTTINGThere are areas of the country in which certain conditions can createchemical fallout (Acid Rain). These pollutants can fall upon the surface ofyour truck and attack the paint.Your original manufacturer has a specific warranty explanation coveringyour vehicle’s painted surfaces. Please have a thorough understanding of thiswarranty at time of delivery.ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT ALTERATIONSThe original manufacturer, from time-to-time, appoints certain conversioncompanies to make authorized alterations to their new chassis. Theseoriginal equipment alterations have been authorized and accomplished by usand are covered under the 3/36 Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty.PAINT, TRIM AND APPEARANCE ITEMSWe perform a comprehensive final inspection to each new conversion. Flawsto conversion custom paint, trim, upholstery or other appearance items arenormally detected and corrected at that time. However, if you find aconversion paint, trim, or appearance item that concerns you, advise yourdealership immediately. Deterioration due to use, wear, road hazard andexposure is not covered by our warranty.NOTE:Periodic MAINTENANCE is required to care for these conversion appearanceitems.!PRE-DELIVERY SERVICEPre-delivery service is completed by your authorized factory service centerto repair defects or damage to the mechanical, electrical, sheet metal, paint,trim, and other components of the vehicle while it is being originally shippedto the dealership.!Page 15

CUSTOM VEHICLE WARRANTYPRODUCT CHANGESWarrantor reserves the right to make changes in design, material,components, etc., in its products without incurring any obligation to makethe same or similar changes on products previously manufactured, advertisedand/or sold.SPECIAL BODY ALTERATIONSWe may make minor alterations to the vehicles or chassis. These minoralterations may include, but not limited to, the installation of parts, thedisconnecting/reconnecting of original manufacturer equipment.WARRANTY REPAIRS-COMPONENTS PARTSWe make every effort to keep your conversion serviceable and in your use.We may exchange the component part needing repair with new, remanufactured, reconditioned or repaired parts. All components partexchanged are warranted as new components. Examples of components are:TV, CD player, DVD, BLU-RAY, etc.WARRANTY SERVICE-UNITED STATESDuring the course of our Conversion Warranty coverage, we recommendrepairs be accomplished by the selling authorized factory franchised dealer.The dealership has your records and, like us, has your best interest at heart.However, on trips or moving, contact SCA Performance for an authorizedrepair center or authorization must be obtained before any repairs begin.!!!!!!!Page 16

SCA Performance7769 Gadsden HighwayTrussville, AL 35173WarrantySCA Performance (“Warrantor”) warrants to the original retail purchaser eachpart of each Conversion sold by a Selling Dealer, which parts are not covered by SellingDealer’s or Original Equipment Manufacturer’s warranty, to the original retail purchaserto be free under normal use and service defect in material and workmanship for as long asthe original retail purchaser owns the vehicle.Stereo, television or any other part expressly warranted by an OriginalEquipment Manufacturer, are not warranted by Warrantor since they are covered by thewarranties from their respective manufacturers upon which the original retail purchaseragrees to rely exclusively and pursuant to which appropriate adjustments will be made bythe respective manufacturers through their representatives.Warrantor’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repairof, at the Warrantor’s plant, 7769 Gadsden Highway, Trussville, AL, such parts as shallbe actually defective.This warranty shall not apply to any part of any Conversion that has beensubject to abuse, misuse, negligence or accident, or which shall have been altered orrepaired by other than an Authorized Dealer.
