4th Annual Interprofessional Health onal-health-showcase-2022Welcome to the Center for Health Interprofessional Practice and Education’s (CHIPE’s) 4th Annual InterprofessionalHealth Showcase! We are honored to showcase 80 health-related projects from students and residents across UTAustin and partner institutions in 6 categories: community engagement, quality improvement, research, literaturereview, case studies, and this year’s new category: health innovation. This latter category involves projects thatapply a systematic process to developing and evaluating new products, technology, or educational materials. Ourlearners are doing amazing, innovative work and we’re excited for you to see for yourself!The schedule has synchronous and asynchronous components. Please visit with authors at the four concurrentposter sessions. You can support award finalists when they present their work at two oral presentation sessionswhere judges will be present to engage with presenters. At your own pace, you can view the digital poster galleryand leave comments for the authors. The schedule and links are listed on the next page.As you view the posters, please remember to vote for your top 3 favorite posters in our People’s Choice category.The link to this survey is on our event webpage and listed throughout the digital poster gallery.CHIPE is very excited to showcase innovations from interprofessional collaborators from many schools, programs,and professions across UT and beyond. Authors include students from undergraduate, graduate, and professionalprograms, as well as residents. We are thrilled that 33% of abstracts were submitted by interprofessionalteams, meaning authors from two or more professions collaborated on each of these projects. Additionally, 62%of projects involved community partners. Finalists will compete in “Best in” categories that include communityengagement, health innovation, research, and quality improvement. Three other award categories, visual, projectin-progress, and interprofessional project, will also be selected.We would like to thank CHIPE’s founding partners: the College of Pharmacy, Dell Medical School, the School ofNursing, and the Steve Hicks School of Social Work.
