Flue terminal positioningAll measurements in millimetresConventional 6Note All measurements are the minimum clearances required. Terminals must be positioned so as to avoid combustionproducts entering the building. In spite of the dimensionsgiven here, the terminal must not be closer than 300mm tocombustible material. In the case of a thatched roof, thisdimension should be doubled. Terminals must be positioned so that products of combustiondo not enter or accumulate around the building. Terminals must be at least 1.8 metres from an oil storage tankunless a wall with at least 30 minutes fire resistance, whichextends 300mm wider and higher than the tank, is installed.Key to illustration61.600mm distance to a boundary, unless it will cause anuisance.
