Introduction to Upstream Processing OperationsCourse DescriptorThis two day course provides an introduction to the typical upstreamoperations carried out in a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Thiscourse will include both hands-on practical and theory components. Duringthis course trainees will be introduced to cell culturing techniques using smallscale shake flasks. Trainees will then gain hands on practical experience usingboth stainless steel and disposable bioreactor systems.
