To this end, we are excited to share with you that the Edmonton Coin Show and Sale has moved toa new location. The new venue offers exhibitors and visitors a modern, spacious, well maintained facility,with wifi, a state of the art security system, onsite cash machine and restaurant, ample free parking and easypublic transit access. The name of the new venue is the Central Lions Centre, located at 11113 – 113Street NW, Edmonton.The dates for the 2022 Fall Show are 10 & 11 September 2022.Friday evening dealer set-up time will be from 8:00 pm till 10:00 pm. We ask that you please adhere tothese times. By arriving at the allotted time, you allow ENS show volunteers the opportunity to have allready for your seamless move-in.Mark your calendars for future Edmonton Coin Show dates: 2023 - March 11 & 12 and September 16 & 17Public bourse floor hours are Saturday: 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and Sunday: 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, we ask alldealers to remain for these opening hours as not to disappoint clients.There are 5 quality hotels located in close proximity to the new venue for you to choose from.This show will feature a variety of special social and community events, these include the Silent Auction(for adults), the Youth Auction (for youths up to 16 years of age), Coin and Medal Displays, and FreeAppraisals of coins, medals, currency and time pieces to the public.The ENS Hospitality Reception will be held on Saturday evening starting at 5:15 pm, for fellowship, goodfood and drink.We assure you that we will endeavor, where possible, to accommodate all your requirements and requests fortables, lamps, display cases, location and proximity to certain fellow dealers. Terms and conditions:EDMONTON NUMISMATIC SOCIETYEDMONTON COIN SHOW AND SALEAcceptance of Application:This form is an application only and must be approved by the Edmonton Numismatic Society (referred hereafter herein as ENS) and the Edmonton Coin Show andSale management (referred hereafter herein as show management) before being accepted. The Edmonton Coin Show and Sale management is an extension of theENS and acts as agent for the ENS, in this capacity show management does not assume any personal nor individual liability whatsoever for any consequence resultingfrom attendance and participation in the Edmonton Coin Show and Sale. The ENS and show management reserve the right, at their sole discretion for whateverreason, to decline acceptance of any application. The making of a deposit does not guarantee that this application will be accepted. If a deposit has been made and theapplication is subsequently declined, the deposit will be refunded in a timely manner to the applicant in the form of a cheque. If the application is approved, theapplicant shall thereafter herein be known as the dealer. When the application has been approved the services and materials requested in said application shall bedeemed to have been contracted for by the dealer. The dealer agrees to pay all charges in full for said services and materials contracted for by the dealer. All contractsmust be in writing.Deposit:The submission of this form must be accompanied with a minimum deposit of 50% (fifty percent) of the amount for the services and materials applied for bythe applicant. The deposit may be in the form of a cheque or cash. Deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable 60 days prior to the event.Payment:Must be made in full prior to the show or at the latest on the Saturday of the show. All returned payments (NSF) will be assessed a 55.00 administration fee.Failure to provide sufficient notice of non- attendance, at least 60 days prior to the show date, will result in the full charges of services booked for and reservedcoming due and payable immediately, regardless if show management is able to resell the booked for services.EDMONTON NUMISMATIC SOCIETYScope of duties and obligations of the ENS and show management:The duties and obligations of the ENS and show management with respect to the application and contract shall be limited to providing the dealer, ifapproved, for the duration of the show with a location at the venue the event is held and the services and materials applied for. Services and materials hereinrefer and are limited to rental of tables, display cases, and lamps, for duration of show. Title of these remains with the ENS.Table allocation (location and number):This is on a first come, first serve basis. All reasonable effort will be made to provide the preferred location(s) as indicated by dealer on the other side of thisform. Allocation of location and table number are dependant upon availability and floor layout. Alternate table location may be assigned at the discretion ofshow management.EDMONTON COIN SHOW AND SALECase (type and number):This is on a first come, first serve basis. All reasonable effort will be made to provide the preferred case type and number as indicated by dealer on the otherside of this form. Allocation of case type and number are dependant upon availability. Alternate case type and number may be assigned at the discretion ofshow management.Lamp (type and number):This is on a first come, first serve basis. All reasonable effort will be made to provide the preferred number and type of lamp(s) as indicated by dealer on theother side of this form. Alternate number and type of lamps may be assigned at the discretion of show management.Set-up:Dealer set-up will commence Friday night from 20:00 hrs to 22:00 hrs and Saturday at 08:30 hrs.EDMONTON NUMISMATIC SOCIETYSecurity:The ENS & show management shall endeavor to take all reasonable security measures throughout the show time-frame. Bonded security shall be provided Fridayduring the evening & night from 20:00 hrs onward; Saturday during morning, official show hours & the evening & night; Sunday during morning & official showhours. Local police shall also have been advise of the show dates. Venue operator provides additional security through 24 hr security cameras, sensors inside andperimeter of the venue, and locking the premises during evening and night.Insurance:The ENS maintains general liability insurance only. Dealer is expected to have his/her own insurance in place. The ENS and Edmonton Coin Show and Salemanagement do not assume any liability for loss and injury incurred as a result of attending, transacting during, and traveling to, and from the show.Taxes and licenses:Dealer affirms that he/she has all appropriate and applicable tax, licenses, permit facilities, and documentation in place and filed with the appropriatecorresponding authorities, agencies, and departments.EDMONTON NUMISMATIC SOCIETYHospitality Suite:This event is offered to participating dealer and dealer assistant(s) on the Saturday night of the show from 17:00 to 21:30 hrs. This is a private invitation onlyfunction. The ENS reserves the right, at its sole discretion for whatever reason, to refuse admission to or ask the departure of anyone. Those attending agree and certifyto use common sense caution and to conduct themselves in a cordial, and responsible manner. The consumption of food, drink,and alcohol offered is at the solediscretion of the attendee, the ENS and show management do not assume any responsibility nor liability for any consequence resulting from said consumption.Professional Conduct:Dealer agrees to conduct business in a professional, honest and equitable manner, whether with a fellow dealer or the general public. Dealer agrees to notknowingly offer counterfeit or falsified items for sale. If an item is a copy, it must be stipulated and presented as such. Dealer agrees to provide fair and honestadvise, valuation and appraisal to those seeking it. Dealer agrees to settle any dispute arising from his/her dealings in an equitable and timely manner.Non-performance or Force Majeure:The ENS and show management shall endeavor to take all reasonable measures to perform their duties and obligations under this contract. If substantialperformance is prevented by an unforeseen cause beyond the control of the ENS and show management or force majeure, this agreement shall terminate.Such cause includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, war, civil disorder, health pandemic (where a local, regional or national healthauthority has issued a health emergency, such as a facility closure or quarantine alert), or the venue where the event was scheduled to be held has become unable,for whatever reason, to provide the required facilities for the event. The maximum liability of the ENS and show management shall be limited to the monies paiddirectly to the ENS and show management by the dealer. The ENS and show management do not assume any liability for any additional expenses whatsoever,which may have been incurred by the dealer, for whatever reason.EDMONTON COIN SHOW AND SALELocation of remedy:This application / contract shall be deemed to have been executed in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
