4.0 Multi-Task TeamMULTI-TASK TEAMYears of experience with trying to deal with various contractors to achieve onecommon goal has led us to build a multi-task team capable of performing allaspects of the contracted work. Each and every worker brings a specific skill set to the team, and are then trainedto perform all jobs within the contracted scope of work but not limited to: Fuel-lube techniciansLabourersScaffoldingCarpentrySteam bay attendantSteam truckSmall equipment operatorsMechanics helperWarehouse PersonnelShrink wrap / ContainmentsMaterial HandlersSupervisionScaffolding design / 3D Modeling8

4.0 Multi-Task TeamTRAININGAs we have a very in-depth range of requirements for our Multi-Tasking Teammembers training is paramount, training and leaning includes but not limited to: CSTSOSSA RegionalOSSA Fall ProtectionH2S AliveOSSA Confined SpaceFirst AIDLeadership in Safety ExcellentFit TestFire ExtinguisherAir BrakesSkid SteerAerial Work PlatformCounter-balance ForkliftTele-handler (Zoom-Boom)9

4.0 Multi-Task TeamClient : Needs be open to our philosophies onwhat it is to have a multi-task workforceworking on their site.PhilosophyClientEmployerWorkerEmployer : Must manage, hire and train theright individuals to become part of the teamWorker : Are not confined and complacent. They are offered the opportunity to learn newskills and express them selvesFor a Multi-Task team environment to be successful, it takes active participationfrom all levels.10

4.0 Multi-Task TeamBenefits of utilizing a Multi-task Organization Increased safety by each and every employee understanding all hazardsassociated with any given task One management system for contracted work as opposed to several differentsystems for the same work More flexible workforce Experienced workers mentor new workers Cost effective / higher productivity Employee satisfaction Better trained workforce Employees are certified Journeyman but are trained and willing to perform allaspects of the contracted work11

4.0 Multi-Task TeamOriginsOriginally started for Suncor Fort Hills Early works project as a pilot programto test its feasibility, the program quickly proved its value:1. Diverse workforce Workers were trained and willing to perform all aspects of the work scope thusreducing idle time2. Cost savings Better trained workforce prevented the need for overmanning the project, the samescope could be performed with fewer hands on3. Improved safety culture and stats Workers were better able to identify hazards associated with the scope of work byunderstanding the entire work scope4. Better Coordination One management system to coordinate the entire work scopeThe Successful completion of the Fort Hills Early works by our Multi-Tasking Teamscompleted 8 months ahead of schedule, helped take equipment availability from 72%to 98% while maintaining the highest levels of safety.12

5.0 Scaffolding DesignScaffolding Equates to approximately 30-35% of major projects overallcosts.Other CostScaffoldingHoarding13

5.0 Scaffolding DesignWith the high cost of scaffolding on any given project ever increasing, we took it uponourselves, with the help of CADS/UK to come up with a solution to cut labor costs. Our philosophy is, that effective planning must start in the very beginning of any projectwith support for engineering in the original design stage. We have assisted CADS/UK with the development of the design software since thebeginning by providing feedback, whether good or bad, and offering suggestions onanything we think could be improved.Introducing the SMART SCAFFOLDING SYSTEM14

5.0 Scaffolding Design3D MODELLINGScaffolds are designed and 3D models created for every scaffold by the planner/scheduler15

5.0 Scaffolding DesignCOST ANALYSISA full cost analysis is generated for every item within a given project16

5.0 Scaffolding DesignPROJECT COST SUMMARYAlso, an overall project cost summary is generated with unlimited items withinany given project17

5.0 Scaffolding DesignCOMPLETE MATERIAL LISTAccurate material lists are generated from the 3D model and exported to the yardstaff for picking and delivery18

5.0 Scaffolding DesignFULL SET OF DRAWINGSA complete set of drawings is then issued to the foreman for that area thendistributed to the work crews reducing downtime19

5.0 Scaffolding DesignIFC CREATIONIFC’s are created that can be used to open the model in many formats20

5.0 Scaffolding DesignMODEL INTEGRATIONModels are Appended into plant models so as to detect any clashes that have to beaddressed prior to erection thus saving time and energy with modifications.NAVISWORKS MODEL FROM IFCNAVISWORKS PLANT MODELMODELS APPENDED21
