Programs and ServicesBreaktime-Mealtime Provides grocery store food vouchers to replace school mealswhen schools are on breaks or during remote learning.Clothes-4-Kids Distributes gift cards to students to select new back-to-schoolclothing from local merchants.Thrift CultureGives families vouchers to shop for high-quality used clothingfor school and work.Grads-On-Track Grants credit recovery scholarships to high school students.Educational GrantsAwards college scholarships that are renewable for four years.Emergency AssistanceAssists families with rent, including eviction preventionand move-in costs. Our COVID-19 Emergency ResponseIn late February 2020, Washington State confirmed its first death from COVID-19. A short timelater, the Bellevue School District closed for the safety of their students and staff. The pandemichas been devastating for Bellevue’s low-income families.When schools closed in mid-March 2020, we saw food assistance requestsincrease by 50% and rental assistance requests triple.Your support.provided grocery store foodvouchers to Bellevue studentsat risk of hunger.provided emergency rentpayments for Bellevue familiesat risk of eviction.Thanks to our community’s generosity, we didn’t turn away any family at riskof experiencing hunger or homelessness as a result of the pandemic.“Thank you, BellevueLifeSpring!
