Welcome to the QEIIWho we areThe QEII provides patients throughout Atlantic Canadawith the most advanced health care available. TheQEII is home to leading care, research, teaching andlearning in all medical and surgical fields.Where we areThe QEII has 10 buildings on 2 sites in Halifax: theHalifax Infirmary (HI) site and the Victoria General (VG)site:HI site1796 Summer StreetVG site1276 South Park StreetTo see where specific buildings at the QEII are located,please see the map at the end of this guide.ParkingParking locations are also shown on the map at theend of this guide. Special parking rates are available forfamilies of long-term inpatients after the patient’s 14thconsecutive (back to back) day in hospital. Discountedrates are also offered for outpatients with long-termtreatment schedules. Please ask staff at the nursingstation or clinic registration desk for details.Shuttle servicePatients who need transportation between the HI andVG sites can take the patient and staff shuttle, whichruns between sites every 20 minutes during the day.1

Wi-Fi areas are marked with signs,and no password is needed. The network name isQEII wifi.2
