Students have various options when meeting the requirements for the special areas they may miss during abrick and mortar school day. Using the attached journal, you will provide a summary and reflection for eachactivity completed. Each experience must also include a signature verifying your attendance.Examples of acceptable completion of the music requirements would include, but are not limited to: Participating in music lessons (vocal or instrumental) Use iPad app to create original songs Attending the Pittsburgh Symphony or musical performanceExamples of acceptable completion of the art requirements would include, but are not limited to: Submitting/participating in an art contest Visiting local art venues, galleries, or museums Creating your own piece of Art work at an Art Studio such as Paint Monkey or Bottlebrush or at homeafter researching something of interestExamples of acceptable completion of the physical education requirements would include, but are not limited to: Participation in an organized sports activity Exercising at the YMCA or Oxford Club with a plan / purpose Enjoying leisurely but active family activitiesExamples of acceptable completion of the library requirements would include, but are not limited to: Checking out a library book and providing a brief reflection on what you read Participation in a public library programStudent’s art, music, P.E., and library reflection journals and verified signature logs must be submitted toyour teacher as close to the end of the nine weeks as possible. This provides adequate verification andgrading time for the student report card.In addition, the technology education requirement is considered completed due to the nature of the Cyberprogram.
