Aphlebotomist’s job includes maintenanceof equipment used in obtaining bloodspecimens; the use of appropriatecommunication skills when working withpatients; the selection of venipuncturesites; the care of blood specimen; andthe entry of the testing process intothe computer, as well as clerical dutiesassociated with record keeping of the bloodtests.
