In 2015, Robbie co-founded andserved as the CEO of 98point6, a healthcare technology company. Robbie is now focusedon building a new company in the environmental space. Robbie has served on the board ofthe Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle, Herzl Ner-Tamid,a Seattle conservative shul, and the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle where hiskids attended K-8. Outside of work, Avery’s community involvement represents asubstantial part of his time. In addition, Avery is very involvedin the arts scene in Atlanta - both with museums and dance companies - as Atlantacontinues to grow as a cultural capital of the South. Personally, Avery also pursued hislove of art by collecting emerging and classical works from a variety of mediums (primarilyphotographs). Avery traveled abroad extensively and continues to pursue a goal of requiringadditional pages for his passport. A former championship golfer, Avery recently waved thewhite flag in despair on his golf game and has chosen hiking and skiing as more enjoyableways to appreciate the outdoors. After acareer as a Bond trader in New York City, David traveled the world for a year as a tour guidefor a luxury Kosher travel agency. He then met his beautiful (and vastly more intelligent)wife on his return to NYC. They decided to move South, to Palm Beach, Florida, where hewas on the ground floor of an attempt to build a new city on Grand Bahama Island. After thebirth of two wonderful boys, and the subsequent Recession, he convinced his wife to moveback to her childhood home in Pittsburgh. David and his wife have since had a third child,and have never once regretted their move.

Heholds a BA with honors in medical sociology from Cornell University and an MD from theUniversity of Illinois, and did his surgical training at the Medical College of Wisconsin andthe University of Oxford in Oxford, England. Before moving to San Diego, he was a traumasurgeon at Chicago’s Cook County Hospital for six years. His communal volunteer work hasincluded serving as the president of the Agency for Jewish Education, whose programs havesince been incorporated into the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center. He is also apast president of the JCC’s arts board - The Center for Jewish Culture. Recently he servedas president of Tifereth Israel Synagogue where he also co-chaired the search committeefor the newly hired rabbi. Other volunteer activities include a local theater (Diversionarytheater) and chairing the J-Pride committee. He lives in San Diego with his husband of25 years, Phil Johnson, one of San Diego’s leading actors. Seth considers the WexnerHeritage Program life-changing, and it built on a strong foundation of volunteerism andlove of Tikkun Olam instilled in him by his parents. He believes that in addition to religiousobservance, education and Jewish cultural arts hold the key to Jewish continuity. He lived in a Muslim country for 2.5 months and now belongsto Congregation Beth Shalom (Conservative). All of this makes Scott simultaneouslyknowledgeable and utterly confused. He earned a BA in Business Administration at Franklinand Marshall College where he met his wife Cindy at Hillel. They live in Squirrel Hill and havetwo (grown) children, Elena and Joshua. Scott served on the boards of JCC Pittsburgh andthe Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh for many years. David has been active in synagogue leadership as well as the Federation,most notably as part of the first cohort of the Peoplehood Project and as Chair of the ReligiousPluralism Committee. David studied Religious Studies at Stanford University with Arnie Eisen,now Chancellor of JTS. David grew up in Livingston, NJ, and now lives in Maplewood with hiswife Karyn and kids, Ben and Margery. David has also been involved in sports and athleticsfor a long time and was captain of Stanford’s club Karate team, coached 10 total seasons ofbaseball and softball for his kids, and since 2012, has been competing in triathlons.

Marc has beendeeply involved in similar work as a lay leader and he currently serves on the AdvisoryCouncil for Camp Daisy and Harry Stein. He was part of the Phoenix Wexner HeritageProgram ‘09. For many years, Marc was also involved in the leadership at CongregationBeth Israel (CBI) in Scottsdale, Arizona (which owns Camp Daisy and Harry Stein), theoldest Reform Congregation in Phoenix, (2020 marked its 100th year) eventually serving asPresident of the Congregation from 2011-2013. Since his time on the Board at CBI, Marc hasserved on the Board at Hillel at Arizona State University and he is currently on the Boardof the Anti-Defamation League for the Arizona Region, where he became Board Chair inSeptember, 2020. Beyond the Jewish Community, Marc serves on the Board of Ryan Housein Phoenix, a facility that provides respite and hospice care for families with children whohave received life-shortening or life-ending diagnoses. An attorney, Marc works for Aetna,a unit of CVS Health, in its Medcaid area. He lives in Phoenix with his wife Lynn. In 2017, he founded Cannfections, bringing his expertisein confectionary manufacturing to the Canadian Cannabis industry. Bringing change tothe community is important to Doug. He is currently on the board of Federation CJA inMontreal and has held various positions in the organization including Chair of West IslandDivision participating in Leadership Development, Chair of Jewish Chamber of Commerce,and Co-Chair National Young Leadership. Doug saw an opportunity during the spring floodsin 2017 and 2019 to connect those in need with those that wanted to help. He mobilizedthe community by creating a Facebook group to crowdsource an emergency response.Thousands of volunteers provided immediate, hands-on emergency support to people inneed. Doug lives in Montreal with his wife Stacey and daughters Lexi and Nicki.

For over the past decade, Jodi has devoted much of her time and business acumento help fuel her passion for a variety of Jewish causes within the nonprofit world. Jodicurrently serves as the Chair of Women’s Philanthropy for the Jewish Federation of GreaterPhiladelphia (JFGP), responsible for raising approximately 6 million from this group ofdonors, as well as for all programming, events, and outreach efforts related to the women’sdivision. Previously, Jodi served as Co-Chair of the Center for Social Responsibility for JewishFederation, working closely with Jewish Federation professionals and board members onallocation decisions for projects that fund food insecurity, disadvantaged youth, and theelderly in Israel and around the world. Jodi served for three years as Campaign Chair forWomen’s Philanthropy of JFGP, breaking previous fundraising records. Jodi has been a VicePresident for Women’s Philanthropy for several years, serving in additional roles such asOutreach and Engagement as well as co-chairing the Women’s Leadership DevelopmentProgram. Jodi was a member of Jewish Federation of North America’s National YoungLeadership Cabinet and served as Vice Chair of Membership for 2014-2015. Jodi serves onthe JFGP Board of Trustees and is also a member of Women of Vision. She was the recipientof the Jack Goldenberg Young Leadership Award in 2011, one of Jewish Federation’s highesthonors. In addition, Jodi is an active member of the Board of Directors for Penn Hillel andhas served as a member of the Board of Directors of Perelman Jewish Day school, whereshe also served as PTO Co-President. Jodi has served in several capacities over the yearsat her synagogue, Temple Beth Hillel-Beth El, and has held leadership roles in her reunionclass at the University of Pennsylvania. Matt’s passion in working with non-profit organizations expands outside of his job ashe serves on multiple boards across the country. Currently Matt serves on the board of theBoulder Jewish Community Center, previously holding positions as Treasurer and President.Matt is also the current Treasurer of LiFT Academy in Seminole, FL, and serves on theboard of the Jewish Life Committee for the Rose Community Foundation. Steve is Past President of the JCC of Portland and of the Jewish Federation.He was an active board member of the JCC and the Portland Jewish Academy for almost40 years.
