MathRequirements forGraduationRising Freshman 2020-2021

A student must: Successfully complete 4 CarnegieCredits (years) of math to graduate. Successful completion is a grade of a 70% orhigher. Decide on the math sequence to takeas your child enters into high school.

Successful Math Students Students should spend at least 30 minutes a night onmath. Homework—Always complete homework! Rewriting and Reworking the notes Reworking problems for the day before or ones that they missed from the night before Students should go see their teacher before or afterschool Each teacher has their own schedule and the entire team has a schedule so students can go to seekhelp from other teachers that teach the same subject. Students should always ask questions. Student need to check their answers each night, so that they know when to ask a question. As soon as the student is not understanding the concept that is being taught.

College Prep Path Students eligible for this paththare currently enrolled in the 8grade math course –Introduction to Algebra.
