IntroductionThis Licensing Information document is a part of the product or program documentation under the terms of yourOracle license agreement and is intended to help you understand the program editions, entitlements, restrictions,prerequisites, special license rights, and/or separately licensed third party technology terms associated with theOracle software program(s) covered by this document (the “Program(s)”). Entitled or restricted use products orcomponents identified in this document that are not provided with the particular Program may be obtained from theOracle Software Delivery Cloud website or from media Oracle may provide. All are restricted touse solely with Siebel Warranty Validation Server; Oracle PolicyAutomation Connector for Siebel is further restricted to using only thefollowing features: Integration Artifacts, Determination Server, WebDeterminations, and Document Generation.Siebel CRMAllRestricted Use LicensesMobile Archive Restricted UseThe Siebel Customer Relationship Management program includes amobile application archive or library (“Mobile Archive”) based on OracleMobile Application Framework Foundation. Your use of the MobileArchive is limited to the following:1. Insert your brand or logo where indicated (removing Oracle’sbrands and logos, if any) in the Mobile Archive;2. Modify the Mobile Archive as permitted by the “Oracle MobileApplication Framework Foundation” section below;3. Compile, complete, and sign the Mobile Archive with your ownmobile operating system-specific certificate(s), thereby creatinga mobile application (“Mobile Application”); and4. Distribute the Mobile Application within your enterprise or entityto your internal users and/or to your third party end users (“EndUsers”). You may not distribute the Mobile Archive to EndUsers.With respect to creating a Mobile Application, you acknowledge that2

For example, for iOS applications, you agree that the MobileApplication, in whole or in part, may not be installed on a mobile deviceor executed except as incorporated into an iOS application that hasbeen signed using an appropriate Apple-issued certificate that youobtained directly from Apple and that is deployed in full compliance withyour agreement with Oracle (including these terms) and license termsset forth in a separate agreement between you and Apple.Any Mobile Application distribution to End Users must be subject to alegally binding end user license agreement (the “EULA”) between youand each End User pertaining to the Mobile Application that must, at aminimum, contain the following terms:(a) Include acknowledgements by you and the End User that the EULAis concluded between you and the End User only and that the followingapply:(i) you are solely responsible for each Mobile Application’s content,maintenance, and support; and(ii) you are solely responsible for addressing, settling, and dischargingany claims of the End User or any third party relating to the MobileApplication or the End User’s possession and/or use of that MobileApplication, including, but not limited to product liability claims; anyclaim that the Mobile Application fails to conform to any applicable legalor regulatory requirement; any claims arising under consumerprotection or similar legislation; and any claims that the End User’spossession and use of that Mobile Application infringes a third party’sintellectual property rights;(b) Provide only a non-transferable, terminable license to the End Userthat prohibits (i) modifying or creating derivative works or (ii) decrypting,decompiling, reverse engineering, disassembling or attempting toderive the Mobile Application source code (unless such actions areexpressly permitted by applicable law);(c) Notify the End User that the Mobile Application is subject to arestricted license and can be used only in conjunction with the specificOracle-based solution(s) for which it is designed;(d) Provide no limitation of your liability to the End User beyond what ispermitted by applicable law;(e) Require the End User to comply fully with all relevant export lawsand regulations of the U.S. and other applicable export and import lawsto assure that the Mobile Application, nor any direct products thereof, isexported, directly or indirectly, in violation of applicable laws;(f) State in the EULA your name and address to which any End Userquestions, complaints or claims with respect to the Mobile Applicationcan be directed;(g) State in the EULA that the End User must comply with applicablethird-party terms when using the Mobile Application and that third-partycomponents that may be appropriate or necessary for use with the3
ProductSubproductLicensing InformationMobile Application are specified in the documentation for that program(or as otherwise notified by you) and that those third party componentsare licensed to the End User only for use with the Mobile Applicationunder the terms of the third party license agreement specified in thedocumentation for that program (or as otherwise notified by you) andnot under the terms of the EULA;(h) State that the licenses provided in the EULA automaticallyterminate upon breach of the EULA terms and in addition that thelicenses provided in the EULA may be terminated upon notice;(i) State that upon termination of the EULA the End User mustdiscontinue all use of the Mobile Application and to delete all copies ofthe Mobile Application;(j) Disclaim in the EULA, to the extent permitted by applicable law, athird party’s liability for (a) any damages, whether direct, indirect,incidental, special, punitive or consequential, and (b) any loss of profits,revenue, data or data use, arising from use of the Mobile Application;(k) Designate Oracle as a third party beneficiary. Oracle will have theright to enforce the EULA against the End Users; and(l) State that your licensors retain all ownership and intellectualproperty rights in the Mobile Application.You agree to inform Oracle promptly if you are aware of any breach ofthe EULA. You agree to be financially responsible to Oracle for alldamages or losses caused by your failure to include the requiredcontractual terms set forth above in each EULA between you and anEnd User.Oracle Mobile Application Framework FoundationOracle Mobile Application Framework Foundation (“MAF Foundation”)is included as a restricted use component. The following tablesdescribe the applicable MAF Foundation usage rights and restrictions.Table 2 below lists the MAF Foundation capabilities that may be usedand what, if any, restrictions apply. Table 3 below lists the MAFFoundation capabilities that may be not used. Any use of thecapabilities described in Table 2 requires an appropriate quantity of fulluse licenses for (a) Oracle Mobile Application Framework, or (b) OracleMobile Suite and Oracle Mobile Suite Client Runtime.MAF Foundation is the version of Oracle Mobile Application Frameworkthat is restricted for use as described in this document. When MAFFoundation is included as a component within another Oracle product(the “Primary Product”) then, depending on the particular PrimaryProduct, MAF Foundation may be included in the Primary Product, maybe separately downloaded from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud, ormay be downloaded as an extension to Oracle JDeveloper.JDeveloper is a prerequisite to using MAF Foundation and must bedownloaded from Oracle Technology Network (“OTN”); seehttp://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer4

Notwithstanding any other terms,use of JDeveloper is subject to the OTN license agreement associatedwith JDeveloper; view the license agreement license-152012.html.Definitions“Application Archive” refers to the MAF Foundation mobile applicationarchive, which is an Oracle proprietary mobile application deploymentformat that can only be used with Oracle supported development tools.It is not related to or based on any non-Oracle application archiveformat, including iOS application archives.“Application Executable” refers to a mobile application executableinstallation file, such as an apk or ipa file.“Application Workspace” refers to a series of files making up the sourcecode of a mobile application developed using MAF Foundation.“Data Control” refers to MAF Foundation mobile application artifactsthat provides standard metadata interfaces to business services (suchas web services) accessed by the mobile application.“Feature” refers to specific MAF Foundation mobile application artifactsthat are the building blocks of a mobile application, where each Featureintegrated into the mobile application performs a specific set of tasks.5
